The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

Can you please tell me which mirroring protocol your Motorola phone is using? There are two types of mirroring protocols used by Motorola, one is Miracast and the other is Google proprietary mirroring protocol. The mirroring protocols used by projectors on the market are Miracast and AirPlay. So if your phone is using Google exclusive mirroring protocol, you need to use Google Chromecast to connect your phone to the projector. The normal HDMI adapter will not work for you.
