I'm 99% sure I need a chiropractor to help me out with this. I went to a physio and they helped to identify that I had IT band inflammation in my right knee, which is what stopped me from running after 3-4 mins. Oddly, I can bike for hours without any pain, so all the stretches I did with my physio didn't help. Must be a biomechanics issue with my hips, both of which pop alot when I stretch

I am about to go to a chiropractor for IT band issues in 2 weeks. I am curious - I watch these videos and it appears the same adjustments are done no matter what the symptoms someone is experiencing. Obviously I am wrong about this. But how are the adjustments different than someone dealing with upper back pain?

Are you talking about the side lying adjustments or full spine adjustments ?
There are hundreds of variations we can do for any part of the spine or pelvis. When speaking to the IT band, i am referencing more to the relationship of his pelvis and the TFL and his final bone.
In this video you do see an upper thoracic adjustment and cervical adjustment, those were not in reference to his IT band

I have been struggling with ITB issues for some months. Can a Chiropractor help anyone with this condition?

Hi deb I’ve had this problem for two years with lots of runaround with physio and ultrasound X-ray etc.. get on Amazon “magnesium spray” and spray it on your it band and knee after a shower. Massaging with the spray also helps. 90% of the pain will be gone instantly over night. Then see the chiropractor to see if they can help. In my case it was lack of magnesium that caused my muscle to spasm and lock like that causing me so much pain. Give it a try, hope it helps 👍🏾

Could ask if they adjust knees... if they ever look for how the tibia is rotating under the femur, (simply could say do they feel aligned and moving properly), can you adjust my knee?
