821 years old beautiful roman church of San Nicolao in Giornico, canton Ticino, Switzerland.
Attested in 1202 and finished in 1210 and with still visible fragments of the original #affreschi and later ones (from about 1478) by artist Nicolao da Seregno , this stone roman church is declared a national monument and it constitutes one of the most important examples of Roman architecture in the Canton of Ticino, notable for the purity and simplicity of its lines.
