I am so happy you found couples to interview. My daughter was born with a birth defect of the optic nerve and she does amazing. She is married and has 4 beautiful kids. I raised her no different than I raised her sister. I taught her from the get go that there was nothing she could not do.. But the one thing she faced was not being able to drive so I dedicated my life to driving her and her kids where ever they need to go. God gave her to me knowing that I would always be there for her...I am so proud to be her mom..
First of all I will say if they choose to use Cole and Charisma I really would understand and go with it, but allow me if you will, I think they should try to include 20-30 couples who aren't already youtube famous within the interabled couples category. Cole and Charisma they do get their fair share of exposure and can tell a great story when it comes to their version of an interabled couples through there own channel. And I think it could be interesting to get the story of ordinary couples who aren't already online.

I’m so freaking excited for you two!!! As a disabled woman, this speaks to me deeply. I’ve been married to a brilliant man for 20+ years and have 2 adult children. My husband has only known me sick. People (even ex-friends) have made some disparaging and heartbreaking assumptions and, in some cases, comments about our thriving relationship. Apparently, I’m not supposed to be happy but I absolutely am. It means the world to me and, surely, thousands of others. People need to know that unconventional works just as well. HOORAY!!!
I hope he reads this book actually. Maybe he's also stuck in his generation. This might teach him cause we never stop learning. Or he is selling his soul for cash and then who cares. But maybe the other couple that was on that show will read this.

That is amazing! I have Dominant Autosomal Optic Atrophy which presents itself as blindness, hearing loss, gait issues, and neuropathy. It is a genetic condition and my son has developed the condition as well. My partner is not physically disabled and has stepped up to be an extremely supportive partner and step father to my children. We would be happy to be interviewed for your project if you would like.
