My frustration is the trailer they used to reveal the date of her release was the same as the one they used to announce her with no new additions or hype or material. Kinda makes me wonder why use the same trailer to tell us information we could've gotten the first time?
Not to mention maybe almost all dlc characters will be so busted on release, and they are gonna nerf them later. Either they suck at balancing or they're doing it on purpose just to make some quick cash i don't know.
of course one of the main selling points of dlc is that you can quickly rank up. they most likely do it on purpose. there main goal as a business is to make cash. that's why they took down moding videos from twitter and youtube.
@@Archie-yc8sv I think it's more than that. There's another variable to sell a character. For example, anna is quite strong in-game wise, but isn't so popular. And there's AK who's bad in t7, but make it top 5 in terms of usage rate. Fahk who has been nerfed to the bone still has a lot of users. So if bandai namco thought it would sell well just because it's easy to use, then i think they're quite mistaken
uh no, when a new character is released of course theyre going to change them later on, its a new character that will need balancing after they get feedback
@@alexismagana3247 lol if they were serious about balancing characters like Alisa and many other's would not be so unfairly OP or Casino. They only reason the tone down dlc characters a while after release is because they need you to buy the next OP DLC character to rake in more cash I think.
and this seasons dlc was leaked months ago it’s why everyone’s upset it’s just dlc characters we just got from tekken 7. lame eddy, lidia, marduk and fakuhram. ign had permission
No people dropped her only after she was nerfed... She was totally destroyed for absolutely nothing and bad reasons. I mean Namco listened too much to a minority of crying and whining people on twitter saying that she was OP. They were just too lazy to learn the match up properly... 🙄 Result : she was so severly nerfed by two times that she became mid then low tier and she lost too much options/okis that she became clearly less interesting to play at the end of T7. Except that, her design and fighting style have been very appreciated at the time and still are. I hope they will not do the same mistakes with her in T8.
@@ogamitaicho77 She was absolutely busted when she came out. Nerfs were necessary. But I agree they went overboard with the nerfs. Looks like they went the other deep end for Lidia in Tekken 8. People will complain again and she will get nerfed. History repeats itself.
They aren’t leaking it, they are given permission to do so. It does ruin the suspense though. They should post it AFTER not before.

Is it your first time watching Tekken talk? They're always like this!

Probably never. Namco has been doing it since I can remember. 😁
... they are trying their BEST to sell the character... AGAIN. Lol.
People are pretending to be excited about Lidia until she comes out, and everyone drops her a week or two later.
Just like they did in Tekken 7.

@@StardustCrusader18 Sure she needed some nerfs but not at this level. 😅
yeah wth hahah
The only way it’ll change is if the Tekken fanbase finally admit that TEKKEN most definitely CAN do wrong.
You people do nothing but complain, you the pettiest community ever.
