Love that I stumbled onto this chanel! I have so many thoughts so this comment may seem a little chaotic but, How did you guys meet?, love the book recommendations I already ordered some of them!, also more book recommendations for people experiencing loneliness?
WE love that you stumbled on our channel!! We were all hired to work on this project by some people who are passionate about helping people grow and discover their purpose. And to our great delight, we’ve all become friends throughout the process :’) SO curious about which books you ordered 👀 and so glad they resonated with you. No books come to mind immediately, but I would recommend more poetry. Especially poetry about nature (so, Mary Oliver is of course a good one, maybe some Thorough - his book Walden talks about his experience living alone in the woods - and Walt Whitman is another good one). This is Darcie typing this, and I actually JUST finished reading The Midnight Library recommended by Maryellen. In that book, the point is made that loneliness is much different in nature than in a city. “Loneliness” is more full and less empty when you’re surrounded by the natural world, at least in the experience of that character, and I would say I resonate with that too. I’ve been in this weird in between kind of state with my faith and my relationships, so reading that book has been helping me understand the way I’ve been thinking.

fav book now is any in the series of hercule poirot, gonna read all of them soon- I think fav out of the bunch is ABC murders and murder fo roger ackroyd for now!
Omgggg yes!! Both of those books are so good. I (Darcie) went on an Agatha Christie kick a few years ago. My favorite by her is And Then There Were None.
@@PassionfrootCo oh surprisingly enough I read a bit of it and dropped/left it- can't remember why but I guess the writing style is just diff than poirot's- just like how I'm sad I couldn't get into the Marple series :( will def give it another go tho!! Any other recs (been looking for Poirot's twin )

I loved this! I wanna have a passionate time with you guys for the book club :) In this season of my life, my favorite book is a memoir, Crying in H-Mart by Michelle Zauner. The author writes about being Korean- American, having mommy issues, and foraging her identity. There was a lot I related with. I cried multiple times.... Do you guys have a goodreads??
I’ve seen that book EVERYWHERE. So curious!! Maybe I’ll get around to reading it some day :) I do have goodreads but I like to keep it private/amongst friends for now 🫢
