Sheeree Davis was born in Los Angeles, Ca in 1956 and was one of the early West Side Crips in the Crenshaw District in 1971. His unlce Sug was a well known member and Co Founder of the Businesmen at South Park in the 1950s.

Seems to me Squally D was the glue that held everybody together to later grow into RSC...these stories are fascinating, I just wish nobody had to die, it would've been great to have all those brothers alive today.

Yoooo- these profiles and Kev’s true stories are the tightest 20-30 mins you’ll spend on any day you’re lucky enough to hear them. Kev just has knack for providing a broad spectrum backed by the who’s who from them days. I’ve said it before, and I’ve never been so confident in crowning him the most skilled and in depth hood historian in LA’s history circa 1970 to the present day with a particular emphasis on the period from 75-95. In my opinion, the golden age of gangbangin in LA. Not every city has a cat like Kev that not only spends his life doin the legwork, but is universally respected by what seems like every notable figure from each era. I’m not tryin to kiss this dudes ass, but I strongly feel for all those who care, we should feel incredibly fortunate that we have a cat like Kev to continually paint these vivid pictures and keep the hood’s history alive in the minds of all. They say a man dies twice, the day he passes away, and the day his forbearers no longer talk about his life and character. Many notable figure can trace their continued existence and influence directly to Big Kev. Salute.

Tootie Reese daughter Mercedes was a close friend of the family and she dated my brother. R.I.P. I was young and remember her very well. She bought my mom those old school musical flower pots from conroys. My mom loved that thing. We went to her service.

I remember in like 83-84 they used to have a spot if I'm not mistaken the Jamaicans was also on Harcourt them Jamaicans was everywhere they was on 47th and denker they used to sell little disk shape crack for $25 and up for the double up cut it 4 ways and bam! perubian gold flake, you know it was Jamaicans because they used to sell it wrapped in foil at some spots, they were everywhere my sister-in-law rest in peace used to boost from JCPenney and sell to the Jamaicans on 67th and brynhurst when osh kosh was in a lot of times you didn't see their face me and my peeps would get our stuff to make money on Harcourt I was going to Crenshaw and at that time there was a lot of curb serving going on. We used to be on Victoria between 63rd and 60th that's when on Fridays you would make the most money over there because the people who worked at Northrup would come through on Fridays when they got paid and loan out their cars and everything at that time people still had good jobs and still maintained themselves when I was on Victoria T-bone and johnell Springer used to come on vic. That was right before johnell caught that case for having all that PCP I remember when everything was going down born-and-bred they're straight out the 60s I used to be in the front hood hanging with Bosco, big Ken Bone, Waco used to come up to horse man in his Chevy I went to Horace Mann with Bosco and when we would get out of school used to go over Ken Bone house SIP Bosco and Kenbone
These unique episodes on particular individuals are great content Kev. Absolutely going to be looked upon as groundbreaking in the future.

Old born and raised in LA and most of these cats names as a kid back then was ringing throughout LA …. They were no joke…. It was out of L and stayed in the coast West Coast San Diego and the story. Is? When. He moved from West Coast of the island street. He moved over on 47th street and market in San Diego and started neighborhood. Cri would like to see if it's a possibility that you can look that up and see. If there's any truth into that, they have a younger brother. That I had grown up with his name was tyrone ramsay, and I think his older brother was donny ramsay if i'm not mistaken, but thanks for listening. I hope to see some more of your videos. Thank you.
