Hey Tyler, love your videos!! Theres 2 ponds in our neighborhood and your videos have definitely helped my son and i catch more fish!! My son is hooked and so glad we can share these memories together!! Keep doing an amazing job!! 👍👍
How would lure selection change if I were on a very large resivor on a boat? More lures that have depth like deep diving crank baits? Cause I thought bass go deeper in the summer?
I’ve been going fishing during this summer here in virginia, and i see fish hitting the top of the water later in the day and i still can’t get them to bite, hopefully this video helps, thx tyler 👏🏼
Great video Tyler! I have a question… what is a good lure for fishing a cement bank canal? I have been using soft plastics and crankbaits and they work well, just wondering if you have any recommendations.
Ahh,north Carolina is America's second most beautiful state...some beautiful fisheries down there,I love it around Cherokee. Anyways, the most beautiful is my homeland, Virginia...even prettier fisheries up here.
Yo buddy been a fan for awhile.. I live in eastern north Carolina.. n for you to tease about the next 100 ponds series... I haven't had a bite .. a good one... This entire year.. n I'm rotating ponds .. between 3 county's (wake, Johnson, Franklin). 😮 So I'll definitely be watching the follow up.. preciate ya info.. God bless you and your family 💯💪
Man sorry to hear that! I’m not sure if the lure I fish with in that episode will help ya out… very unique episode. It’s cool though! Might give ya some ideas
Tyler another great instructional video I really love these videos! Thank you for sharing I do have a question will you ever come to Colorado to do any pond fishing I would love to see that come to fruition take care brother and God bless!❤❤
i cant catch a thing on top water or texas rig but i'm determined to figure them out. most relatable baits for me so far have been panther martins and crappie magnet grubs
Have you fished Cherokee lake or Douglas lake seems there pretty hard to learn is what people say do you or anyone have any recommendations for bass in these lakes around this time
😂😂 I ordered every lure you talked about! Except the worm. Also ordered a Mach 2 - 7’ 3” rod, Lew’s Speed Spool LFS reel, and Seaguar TactX 50lb braid. This combo will be my top water combo. Love your videos brother. Need to get you up here to the Lexington WMA in Oklahoma 45 ponds in a relatively close proximity, and all have bass.
You literally keep me fine tuned year after year, if I’m struggling to find a strategy that works.. I watch a few recent videos and I’m back to whacking 15-30 a day
I need you to visit maryland and get your experience cause here is jard catching over 5 pouns especially in the metro area. But ! BUUUT ! We got the best snakeheads which you would love the fight and taste of
@TylersReelFishing I don't get to get out as much as I use to so I've only caught a handful I been focusing on catching a maryland p.b these days but man I tell ya their fun they fight like a cat and when they tire it's like dragging a snapper 🤣 the taste of then is what makes em even better
I’ll go even further than your comment regarding weeds and muck on a lure: I have never once caught a single fish, whether largemouth, smallmouth, walleye or pike in a river or lake, or trout in a stream, when my hook has had vegetation on it. That is true, even with just a small bit of weeds, notwithstanding that I have caught fish with a Roostertail with a similar amount of feathers or hair hanging behind the treble hook.
I love my mack patroller I snagged it in a tree 😢 but I always try to have a back up LoL Id seen yours when the video first started and it just reminded me of it
Started watching you years ago and always said you'll blow. You did and on top of that helped me become more knowledgeable since I got back into fishing after years not. I appreciate you in every aspect. Went from catching hundreds of dinks to now not as many catches but their getting bigger in size and Maryland waters dont hold giants. Much respect and appreciation for you and yoyr page

It definitely is a hindrance to getting bit!
how do you find what baitfish is in a lake? I know the one I fish has crawdads but I never see any small shad swimming around.

No, and I’m with Outkast Tackle for jigs. Have been for 5 years, and am in development of my own jig with them

Just spinning rod applications:

What do you advise in California ?
Doesn’t matter where you are, it matters what kind of pond you’re fishing in. I discussed that in the video
Hi Tyler should I choose a 1/2 ounce bladed jig or a 3/8 ounce one. And why
All depends on water depth. I use both a lot this time of year. Anything less than 4ft, 3/8oz
Thank you
Wish this video came out 2 days ago. Just dropped a bunch of money on tackle not knowing what to get because I’m a beginner 😂
