    Dave, you should come to Allegheny Echoes or Augusta Heritage Center Old Time programs every summer and you'd see just how much influence the Hammons family had on West Virginia old time music.

    My great-grandfather was Currence Hammonds, nephew of Edden Hammons. I'm only now beginning to learn how influential the Hammons family was.

    pam lund the banjo player is very good at what she does she plays fiddle banjo and guitar and is really good at them all

    Please stop the slurs and cutesy stuff. This tune is deep and almost transcendental in nature. Listen to French Carpenter for the way to get the tune's feeling right.
