I am a fan of Rafi Saheb from my college days , I have collection of around 3000. + songs including his sung Bengali songs. There is no end for appreciation of the great legend Allah has gifted him voice and he is giving each individual good moments listening his melodious songs. His love is always with us is alive in our mind and heart and remain with until our last breath . Only we can give our respects to him - he is and will be always a living legend.

The more I study Mohammed Rafi the clearer it becomes to me he was really put on Earth as an example. An example of what a saint would be or behave like if he was given a human form. Like Shahid says he would be dressed so simple at home he hardly ever spoke he seemed much much much more concerned about others than himself. He respected everybody disproportionately, he knew he was a channel for God. I saw a program where during the recording of a song he broke away drank water waved at a friend then started singing again. Yes he was a saint and deeply religious, my regret is and its born out by what's happened. I believe that the Rafi of the 80's and I do mean the 80's he's songs lasted I know consistently to 1984 proper and he's last song released in 1989 farz ki kung. Was destined to be AN even greater singer had he have lived. Put the songs of Shabbir Kumar, Mohammed Aziz, Anwar Hussain, Jaspal Singh and Sonu Nigam together all songs made for Mohammed Rafi basically and you have the real story. Man what a story what a man, but born in a country that doesn't really know what they have lost.

This is not the platform for that. Such people need help. There is no point getting angry at them. I would rather continue cherishing such a nice program about our beloved Mohammed Rafi Saab. Rafi Saab did not belong to a religion, just like Allah does not belong to a religion. Allah belongs to us humans equally. Rafi Saab also belongs to entire humanity. Elvis Presley- I know you speak with am accent but at least, spell the name properly. Elvis Presley (1935-1977) only sang for 20 years (1956- til his death) but Mohammed Rafi has been a playback singer for about 40 years (1944- 1980). I agree that there is no way Rafi saab could have sung 26,000 songs- records show he sang roughly 7500 songs. He had a recording studio 🎙️ to home 🏡 to recording studio🎙️ type of lifestyle. He enjoyed his food 🍽️ never drank & smoke, as he admitted it is hard to maintain your voice. As far as playback singing goes, he discouraged his children from singing as he once said "You have to sing like me or better." That's why his children were set up in business in London, England. For a man who was so simple & God fearing it's amazing that he departed this life 🧬 during Ramadan in 1980.

His voice was the closest that God could sing for the millions of us.
