Really interesting blend of mammals, reptiles, and arthropods in these designs. I don't know what kind of setting this is but these feel like alien creatures which is a really unique take on the concept of a dragon.
That was one of my main problems with BOB. At least there will be less overlap between WOD aquatics for the most part. Adding more playables may not be the end of it though.
this game sounds like a literal dream to me. dragons are my favorite thing, ive ALWAYS wanted a dragon game just like this!! i try not to get my hopes up for games much anymore but wow have you got my hopes soaring! beautiful work and concepts and everything! i will be keeping a close eye on this one ❤

This game might be the first play-as-a-creature survival that successfully adds playable humans too in the WHOLE genre which is huge!!😊 I personally played a lot of The Isle and wanted to play as humans in a world of player-controlled creatures but the Isle failed to deliver after many many years (8). I have so much excitement for this development team!! Subscribed and turned on the bell, going to wishlist too!!
I lovw how all the small dragons are so unique!ill likely be mostly playing the small guys! Which is a good thing, as in a lot of games the small guys get overlooked because they are just weak without enough specalty
Sorry for the long comment Another commenter mentioned the aquatic areas of the game dying off at some point. For most games, like Path of Titans, there isnt anything to do in water. Will there be incentives for players, both dragon and human, to sail/swim in the oceans? For humans, perhaps looting ship wrecks, fishing for rare fish, or doing certain missions akin to sea of thieves, will encourage human players to venture the oceans. And of course, where human players are, dragans will be. Perhaps having a dynamic treasure system, with different tiers of lootable treasures will encourage players to venture to different parts of the map. Certain legendary tier treasures can be locked behind long, difficult quests like poseidons trident in the oceans, or the ferrymans' Bell deep within a gaseous cave. Getting these valuable treasures can add benefits to those that keep them in their inventory(although risking losing said treasures if your killed) and said quests to obtain them have a server cooldown time for when it can be found again. Just some ideas i had, let me know what you think
im not a fan of sea of thieves due to the lack of progression but our game will not have quests or missions but there will be rare fish and ocean based monuments such as sunken ships or flooded buildings that will give people things to do also we do have a lot planned for the oceans to keep them alive-!

But another related question, I think I read somewhere that when your dragon dies, you have to start a new one all over. Is this true? What will become of nests and skins when you lose your dragon? One of the turn offs of playing games like The Isle or DOD or Rust is spending hours of real time growing just to die and start all over. It can feel much like a chore rather than being fun and doesn't show much value for a players time. What kind of progression system can we expect (for dragons and humans) in your game?
It's a matter of relative scale. Small or not, we're talking about dragons. Pretty sure the largest of real creatures with the word dragon in the name (Komodo Dragon) would only pass for a hatchling of the real thing, and even then likely only of the smaller sorts.
@@devonm042690 The smallest Dragon we have is the size of a large tiger the largest is the size of a 3 story building so its very much all over the place.
a couple of suggestions I think the game would stand a better chance at pull a bigger audience if you guys added a couple more dragons/wyverns that feature classic styles + it'll help the game feel more balanced from an artistic point of view and people will be glad to see styles they are familiar with and my 2nd suggestion is for the vulcan with those big wings it's hard to believe it isn't made for prolonged flight I can see it having less stamina than a wyvern but to say it can only fly short distances sounds a little absurd my suggestion is to maybe reserve that behavior concept for another dragon with a similar style but with a smaller wing/body ratio after all the games feel more immersive when creature behaviors match the way they look! The games looking great though keep it up looking forward to seeing more :)
Of all the upcoming dragon games ou there, this one is the most creative and promising one. Can't wait to see what you guys are going to achieve in the year of tha dragon!
You know what would be cool if younger dragons that can still use their element they like can randomly shoot or use a small amount of their element just a suggestion but would be awesome
Young dragons though they cannot use element like their adult counterparts, can do small "bursts" of element like fire dragons can cough small sparks of fire. As the dragon grows and they master their element, their elemental abilities become stronger: eventually turning from small sparks of fire into the fully grown brilliant fire breath.
They all look soooo good!!! The spider owl is my favorite so far💝 Will you add some herbivore dragons that can fly? The lore could be that they spend their time on the ground, eating, but if a predator chases them they can fly away very quickly instead of running👀
we dont really want to say an exact date of a full release because things in game development change and when it does release we don't want the game to be filled with bugs but if we get funding we are aiming late 2025 - early/mid 2026

I really like the idea of the prawn reapers living below water and inland. really makes them scary, you aren't safe from them anywhere
they live on land but hunt mainly in water is the idea but yea you are not safe anywhere from them

set in roughly 1200 on earth just we have made the world bigger with a new continent
Definitely gonna need more aquatics, we’ve seen how easily those areas die off in games

Odd that acidic dragons start the tier as good flyers, then become arboreal, then completely terrestrial. Was there any intent behind this?
