@@christianhafer9819 I can honestly say Undertow ia top 5 original character figure from the 90s. And by that I mean figures that didn't have previous versions in the 80s. Top 5 of all figures 1990 through 1994 is a subject I'd have to really study to be objectively fair.
@John Soehnlen Perhaps. But, what I'm saying basically is that lousy Hoodie is selling him way short. Middle tier? Get the hell outta here! Top tier all the way. Love his color scheme. Not too bright, just perfect.
I seriously have to mention this because the coincidence was too funny. I literally just farted right before you asked if anyone “smelled anything” 😂 The timing was awesome!!!
1:41 "We're making an alliance with The Enemy." "Who?" "The Enemy." "Which enemy?" "THE ENEMY." "Uhhh?" "The Iron Grenadiers. You know, Destro's Enemy!" "Wait, they're Destro's enemy? I thought they worked for Destro." "...I hate you, Fred 4."
I had a few Grenadiers as a kid. I like this group. Undertow was a really cool figure. I stuck his trident down his pants too ha ha. Destro would actually be my favorite.
If this guy had come out a decade earlier he'd have definitely found himself fighting my Mego Pocket or Super Powers Aquaman (much more suitable than the Adventure People swimmers). The helmet being removable is cool, but the trident is the winning piece (even if its execution leaves something to be desired). I think the Iron Grenadiers could've been more successful if they'd be sold as an entirely independent criminal organization without any connection to Cobra.
Aewsome Episode HCC! acn you please do some more episodes on the Iron grenadiers and Destros Organization? Next to the Dreadnoks these were My Favorite Enemy forces.
Destro, as the head of M.A.R.S....an incredibly wealthy man. Sadly, I know how much "Joe-Old-Heads" or rather the kids who became Rawhides in '82 with the INITIAL Joe Team or OG-13 and their "Joe-Old-Heads" experience were all pretty similar....in '82, at whatever age they were, they fell in love with the figures, the characters, comic/sunbow series and almost lived happily ever after!!! the catch? Well by '85/'86 all those J.O.H.'s, or Joe-Old-Heads, were frankly sick of drab, olive green military realism....they collectively dreamt of characters/ figures like Sci-fi, Dr MindBender, Serpentor etc....Hasbro assumed that the answer was in outer space in neon colors but it actually came from much closer...under your own feet even!!! Well...if your feet are standing in the Himalayas.... and yes Joe-verse, O.J.H's prayers were answered in the form of the last mutant and human/reptile hybrid, the ULTIMATE and ABSOLUTE divine ruler of Cobra, the overseer and guardian responsible for Cobra-La and its inhabitants and finally the divine and most noble birthright, as the last of the lines of the Ancient Serpent King's....those King's who feared no other people and forged an alliance with all inorganic lifeforms in a pact of battle against the humans Cobra-La so resented. Hoodie Co-Co had failed and Globbie wouldn't dream, the one unforgivable crime in the entire community....and not literally moments after sentencing Co-Co to deaf....wasssss oncccccce a man....and besides, though it was through Pyschic Motivator it was NOT Dr. MindBender who did all the work, travel and research on DNA and creating a clone from genetically splicing the DNA of multiple historical characters and even Sgt Slaughter...it was, as channel He-Bro would say, "GLOBBBBEEEEUS" and now would be Serpentor's time to emerge the true Cobra Emperor. Ok....I'm getting carried away!!! But just imagine these future Joe-Old-Heads-In-Training after having played with this "realistic military action figures" line for 4 straight years WITHOUT Manimals, Space Marines, War on Drugs, *Destro's break away military force* , Co-Co and the Coil, no battles to win for Mother Nature aka the environment....like ALL environments, no dress up days like "normal uniform with......TIGER!!!!" or the really creative "let's let's wear black....at night!?! So....I suppose my point is that for MANY a Hard-core Joe Collector the film was their swan-song because.....how could you ever top it??? But after walking away from Joe...those OG JOE-OLD-HEADS from Joe-Gen era #1 stopped following the brand and also, allegedly having #2 turned 21 during the premiere and overcoming any nervous feelings in the presence of the opposite sex....so at 22/23 they had no bills truly, and theyre succeeding or nearly succeeding in talking to, taking to dinner, not being rejected by and for a few touching/kissing...so Joe's are the last to ship out and the first to respond to anyone in need.....well you can imagine how many Joe-Gen's went AWOL and so with all that, it makes sense, for you guys to not fit grasp the dissolution of Destro's Army.....GLOBBBBEEEEUS, in a major d!ck move left Serpentor holding the bag and the tab/bill for all this...and so Cobra filed chapter 11 for restructuring and have come in to the black quick, quickly, quickest very recently. Sadly Destro's Despoiler overheated somewhere in Gary, Indiana and was like to be surely....goodnight. But Destro ACTUALLY divorced The Baroness and filed for chapter 7....he said he was looking to go back to school and that ruling the world wasn't even appealing any longer. Hehe yes....in the end Cobra self destructed...and General Clayton Abernathy has sworn his life to keep it so.. Destro was last spotted outside of Milwaukee with his new wife and over summer vacation as he is now a 9th grade English Literature teacher. Cobra Commander is still plotting domination somewhere in the dark quarters....he's aligned with Mr. FireFly and with Mr. ZARTAN and being funded by M.A.R.S. new C.E.O. MacGregor "Greg" Darcloning....a second cousin to Destro and a babe in arms in 87--90 with no preconceived opinions of anyone. Fantastic, top tier figure all the way, you overly critical SOB. The colors are perfect, his weapons are perfect. Maybe he trained the barracuda, like Aquaman or something. One of my favourite army builders, and one of only a handful of 90s figures in my collection. Top tier in my opinion
Absolutely top tier! Hoodie is a critical son of a biscuit! Fantastic figure in every way.
Undertow is the name of one of Tool's best album, therefore it is the best name for this guy.
I don't usually comment, but I appreciate what you're doing and want to say so. Subscribed immediately 2 months ago:-)
Did u know undertow also came with hole chested variant?
This is definitely a good figure. I really like the head sculpt and the removable mask.
All the frogmen, both Cobra and Joe, were good figures.
Excellent figure. Top tier definitely! Hoodie is an overly critical SOB. Perfect figure. One of the Top 5 of the 90's, I bet.

@@johnsoehnlen4781 Good. All mine are complete. I don't want incomplete figures.
I loved this figure, I always loved when you got a mini vehicle with the figure, not everyone got one so it made the toy feel special
HCC788 IS BACK!
AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!
the collector club did make him in proper IG colors, he look fantastic
But it pretty expensive and hard to get one of those fellas
This figure looks pretty cool and a new one on me. Its great to learn more about GI Joe from the 90s.
I'm looking forward to COBRA CONVERGENCE 6!
I seriously have to mention this because the coincidence was too funny. I literally just farted right before you asked if anyone “smelled anything” 😂 The timing was awesome!!!
I got this one as a birthday present, one of my favorite figures. Nice "Naked gun" reference XD "I love it"
I liked the review. Name does not fit the figure but the mask and skiff are very good. Thank you Commander
Fun review and I love the IG faction and wished it was developed a little better.
Man you really got my nostalgia going. Forgot about this guy. Loved him.
6:45 Or Aquaman.
They really tried to stick with the Grenàdiers as a subteam. I think they barely eek out the Dreadnoks in members, and beat them easily in vehicles.
Undertow look like they should have been the second version of EELS. Or maybe an elite version of them.
I'm impressed with this figure and accessories considering it's year.

Great vid as always hcc!!!!
I’m with you, I love the Eels. Undertow is not a good name for a builder
Keep up the awesome work !!
Love the shirt!
Undertow and his Sea-Wyrms would have been cool.
💚💪🏾
He was one of the last few figures I picked up back in the day. I thought he was a great figure.
Great video as usual! Hope all the talk of shafts, hoses, and pegs doesn't get you demonetized!
HCC788 he swim's in shit 🤣🤣😂😂 got me bust'n a gut too funny gr8 review keep them coming
SHARKS WITH FRIKKIN' LASERS!!!!!
Great video for a great figure. Can you please do vids on Night Creeper Leader and Headhunters Storm Trooper? 💣💥
If that is your art work, I have to say that it has greatly improved. Good job.

cool
Was there not a Classified Friday this past week?
If the green parts were black it would fit more perfectly into Destro's ranks, imo.
Do you personally do the artwork for your video thumbnails?
are you sure that's water?
Getting strong Stinky Diver vibes on this one.
Completely forgot I owned this figure.
Fantastic, top tier figure all the way, you overly critical SOB. The colors are perfect, his weapons are perfect. Maybe he trained the barracuda, like Aquaman or something. Maybe mud viper? And lose the fish
The Barracudas would be a better name than Undertow. The color on the suit might be camouflage with red and green Algae.
I see Stinky diver.
Not bad at all.
Maybe the fish Is used to smack Joes around.
So is this one guy or a bunch of them?
Funny, yet gross.
I never liked Voltar, the character was just bland to me.
