The ferrari 360 there is a hidden switch in the front compartment on the left pretty much the upper left hand corner of the front compartment (under the front hood) (when standing looking at the car). Turn it off, wait about 5 or 10 minutes, then turn it back on. That will clear any data stored in the ECU's. Make sure you do this when the car is cold, so that the next time you start it, it will go through it's normal warm up and reprogram the ECU. It happens when battery goes low for long.
It is very important you don't turn engine on and drive it. After the SW is turned on, put the key in the ignition On position (no engine running) and give your car some time to do its own thing (do not touch any thing) Then after all that and you waited a few minutes with no engine running. Turn it off and then back on and let it run for a few minutes, this will likely resolve you issue. I fixed one same issue
It maybe very well the primary ECU is faulty, as primary ECU is the CAN+ and CAN- lines and all other modules won't communicate if that module is at fault . I am suspecting the primary ECU/ECM as well. Do a proper reset procedure above first.

I've said it on previous videos but I'm gonna say it again... I'm am really impressed by Vtuned! Considering his age... his knowledge, work ethics and attitude are beyond amazing. If he keeps this up he is going to be a legend in his field. It is VERY rare to come across a guy his age that is this deep into his craft, truly a top notch dude.
micglou age , work ethic , and talent is awesome. his use of filler would piss most good body guys off. he should have only needed a quarter or less of what he used. it's pathetic that all body guys now just want to throw the filler at it and not work the body panel more. seems all body guys do this now.

@@kennethlaw5216 I don't see anything wrong with the use of filler and how he did it, he couldn't work that aluminium anymore without it cracking and you simply need a good coating of filler to sand it really flat.

The way vTuned fixed that quarter panel is just insane. It looked like it was beyond saving, but he turned it into a masterpiece. Kid's got so much skill for such a young age.

I couldn't have said it better, I am an ASE Master Tech and I-CAR Platinum certified. The only tiny thing I would suggest is that he invests in some aluminum body hammers. You can cross contaminate with the steel body hammers and cause galvanic corrosion. Great job!!!

When it comes to bright Lambo colors, I'm in love with Viola SE30 purple. I saw it on a Huracan and it was beautiful!
Since you already bought the trailer, I'd suggest you spend the money on a set of Race Ramps. They will give you the correct load angle for all your cars. If you didn't have the trailer, I'd have recommended spending the extra money for tilt deck model.
They also make car hauling trailers with air bags, so they can lay down on the ground for loading and unloading without ramps, and a very shallow angle.
@@bigtrucker26 those cost more than enclosed trailers, even some of the aluminum ones.
I would also suggest redoing your current ramps so they were flipped over. It won't be as rough of a ride driving over the ramps with the ramp rungs flipped over the other way.
I watched a car build show many years ago on one episode the builder of said car rubbed soap on the Aluminum panel, when heated the soap turned brown & that was how he got the metal to the correct temperature. Just a tip for anyone working Aluminum with heat.
Arshad Mahmood I use the wood technique. when heating it, I press a piece of pine and when it smokes, you can forge with the aluminum
@@kenleo8237 Is it true that you can fire up an acetylene torch and just using acetylene, carbon up the aluminum (black) and then when you heat the aluminum to the point where the carbon burns off - then it's the perfect temp for forging or welding?

@@kenleo8237 Its probably different in the UK where the show I watched was made, the Car was a Caterham 7 as far as I remember.
Temperature crayons are made just for this. Different manufacturers use different alloys, but each has guidelines about temperatures to use, including the temperature to never exceed. You just mark on the back of the panel with crayons of different temperature ratings, and heat the panel until the right ones melt.
Keep in mind that the heat can affect adhesives or foam pieces around the panel, even away from the repair, because aluminum conducts heat so well. Keep a close eye on it so you don’t do any unexpected damage!

There is one thing you forgot to say Sam, this is V is a professional and has had training from either a school or has been trained for years from a certified professional. It's all fun, but as anyone can see in a safe and professional way. People just dont do work of his caliber by jumping on a you tube channel and learning, he has absorbed this knowledge by practicing with professionals for years and it shows. This is why you went to him in the first place...Keep up the great work V, as you are the type of young professional we need to keep the art or rebuilding and customizing alive....
VTuned baited some of you several times during the video. He said things like what are these funny Mark's on this crossmember. Or, why would Lamborghini ding up the crossmember like that. This kid is a pro. This crossmember stuff is mechanics 101. He was aware that the crossmember was part of the crumple zone the whole time, he was just seeing how many would dog him.

I have a long past with people fixing cars without putting such things back in or doing other corner cutting. It's the reason i no longer trust stealerships, mechanics with my cars. No offence towards honest workers, but when you lose a wheel because the brake locked up on the Autobahn (yes, i was at speed), you become very appreciative of the long history of swear words your family has worked so hard to imbue you with.
The way he connects all these videos to different projects is smooth af.

Keep the Lambo the stock colour. It looks super stealthy, will show off how great Vtuned’s bodywork skills are and be an antidote to all the lairy green & yellow ones out there. The Ferrari also looks super sharp in the racing green don’t change that either 👍

I suggest painting the car with the original paint, as it is way easier to get it 100% correct.

I hadda friend who rebuilt the frame of a 2014 Camaro SS RWD and didn’t add a crumple zone into any of the frame work long story short we got into an accident and I broke my spine. What I learned from that was don’t cut corners while rebuilding a car/frame... love the videos keep up the great work

I'd keep the black color. Repainting this car a different color properly will cost thousands. The whole idea is to save money and have the cheapest Lamborghini. If you do a quality paint job, you'll spend all the money you just saved, or thought you saved. Let the next owner decide what color to paint it. Right now, your car looks like something Darth Vader would drive! :-) LOL
On the other hand, we know who he's going to have paint it... And the whole thing is going to be sprayed anyway. So he would probably only have to add in the cost of the additional paint, and not the full cost of labor.
I think he should go for the color change. Just because it would be an interesting video to see everything involved in that.

Just found you guys last night, this is amazing stuff. Worked with cars all my life and this is a spectacular bunch of projects. YES make this beast something bright and amazing to show off the power and make a statement. Make it a one of a kind like other legends. Doing great and man I agree Vtuned has patience and is a perfectionist. I could never devote that kind of time to a quarter panel, WOW! Keep up the great work!! My salvaged project car was a Porsche 928, and it took me 3 years to save the money to get it up to a driver. Had no money for anything else, but had my dream car, lol. Fun project, but all my beaters, over the years, pale in comparison to these pieces of art!! Looking forward to more!!

I think a burnt orange on a Lambo G would be great. Like the Dodge SRT-4 color back in neon days. That would compliment the curves of the vehicle so much. They called it orange blast pearl I believe.

Two things, first- when loading the truck always set the parking brake. Also, they make helper ramps for loading vehicles with very little ground clearance. And secondly, if you're not buying the ramps keep some extra 2x6 boards.
It's so refreshing to see someone so young repair a car that way. Anymore the industry has become a job of simply replacing parts, and not repairing anything.

Paint the Lambo Verde Draco the same color Ed Bolian painted his Murcielargo. It would look real good on that spider 😍
You could have sandwiched the panel in two pre cut to shape steel plates and heated then pressed it in a vice ,or big C clamp.

This, unless you spend big and completely change the paint everywhere it will be better to have it as original and do a wrap.
Doing a pearl or metallic black is also a good option, that way all the inner black bits won't look wrong.
Paint it Porsche Ruby-Stone/Ruby-Star. With those wheels.

The ecm issue is a know problem. We use to do them a box at a time from dealers and clubs. You can get them repaired sometimes but the funny part is they use a standard ecu so you can get a (I think it was a me7.2) wrecker ecu and just use the bdm method to hard overwrite your data onto the new one. Takes like an hour in total to do it nicely. And don’t use heat to open them just soak them in brake cleaner. It eats away the seal and then you can get into them nicely. Don’t forget to use a good quality window sealant or any other marine grade rtv. And while you are in the ecu might as well give it a little “tuning fun” what better to do the first drive on camera with flames coming out the back right? Best of luck on the rebuilds!

When the guy does it with one layer of body filler, you know he is worth every dollar he asks for the repair. He said he does this since he was four and I do not doubt that! So good to see a master of a trade doing his stuff! He makes it look so easy.

Nothing wrong with saving some expense on a repair by doing it yourself if it’s a safe method and the end results are exceptional quality. I’ve done many frame repairs by making or having made custom replacement rails, I just finished a repair on an Audi s4 running over 60mph that had an suv pull out at a 90 deg in front of it, me driving. Body shops wouldn’t touch it so I cut and welded myself, looks factory and waiting for me to paint and assemble the body now. Some fellow TH-cam and Facebook friends shipped me cheap parts. Instead of 15k repair it’s costing me less then 1200.
