This is what I needed. I need to set a daily challenge to Kindle read. I have Prime First Reads that my goal was to read each in 2024. I think I've read two.
Timed reading goals always really help me! I’m currently making sure I read at least 30 minutes a day of a 12 TBRs book because I realized I was really behind and steady progress is the only successful method I’ve found for keeping myself on track :)
I love this idea! I may do this for an hour each day now that I'm back at work and see if I can do it. Maybe after this week (the first week of school)!
I use bookley also and love it. I have my goal on there to read for 90 minuets a day cause my days can get rather hectic. Sometimes I forget to stop bookley after I’m reading and the timer keeps going. Is there a way to correct that?
You can click on the reading session after ending it and click edit to edit the time. Only works if you happen to know about how long you were actually reading for, but it's a feature on Bookly that I have had to use many a time lol
I was going to say the day after this you popped off!!

I should do this challenge. I've been in a reading slump all summer.
I recommend! It is challenging but I also found it to be really fun!
Ok FINE Martine I will read a book today

I feel like I should do this instead of doomscrolling!
I recommend! If you did, I’d love to know how it ends up feeling!

I’ve seen this unfold on tik tok lol
do you read faster the more you read
I feel like there's a threshold of diminishing returns for speed, but I will say that I have always read quite a lot and that I do read fairly quickly
