I Tried Reading My Bible for 24 Hours Straight

- Today I took on what may be one of the most challenging things I have EVER done. I have seen lots of people on TH-cam attempt to read for very large amounts of time. From swapping their screen time, to trying to read for multiple days at a time, this challenge seemed like something I wanted to try! I decided to give this challenge a twist and see if it was humanly possible to try to read my Bible for 24 hours STRAIGHT! In this video, you will see a realistic day in the life of reading my Bible for an absurd amount of time and not stopping until I reach the 24 hour mark. This challenge was difficult, just as the last one was, but honestly, it helped me to change and challenge my perspective when it comes to reading my Bible. I continue to learn some amazing lessons when doing these video, and I hope I can encourage you to read your Bible more and we can break these challenges together!

That's great!!! I read the Bible in 57 days this year. Started January 1st, 2023 and finished February 26th, 2023. It was a great experience! About an hour a day (sometimes a tad more) and you can do it, too!

You should get an audio bible or something like that so you can listen to it when your eyes get tired. Plus it would help when going for a walk or run and not having the pages get wrinkled.

The Genealogy of Matthew has a purpose. It shows that God uses broken humans to accomplish his goal.
Rahab was a prostitute, and was part of the ancestry of the Messiah. Ruth was also a pariah, but God used her to bring about the monarchy. David committed adultery with Bathsheba, and yet, he is also chosen (that doesn’t mean God will gloss over his mistake, the genealogy says the Bathsheba was the wife of Uriah).
All scripture is profitable. We can do character study from the names of the genealogy and learn what their flaws were, and their strengths.
(That does not mean I’m particularly fond of reading the first chapters of Chronicles tho haha)

I just finished reading the book *crazy love - francis chan* and it really made me think what it would be like if I truly lived only for Jesus! And if I was really willing to die for Jesus like so many martyrs over the centuries. I've also been thinking about that Jesus lived 2000 years ago and in this time we should've been progressing in our Faith, but it seems like so many people just live super lukewarmy. in the book it's also mentioned about Chinese underground churches willing to die and face prosecution while we're here not always willing to go to church on sundays. I do the latter as well and it's interesting to think about how my life should look like..

Oh wow I just remembered. I used to read one chapter of the old and one of the new and flip back and forth and I was reading the passage in leviticus when it talks about things that makes people unclean like a womans monthly period or discharges and things like that would require 7 day isolation and then bathing before the lady would be allowed to go pray at the Synagogue.
When I flipped to the new testament it was (I kid you not!) The passage where the woman who was considered unclean because of a blood flow that will not stop. Reaches to touch the hem of Jesus garment for healing and Jesus stops and turns and asks who touched him. He then says "Daughter, your faith has healed you! Go in peace!!"
God is with you as you read the bible. Don't give up. He will make it interesting and fun. Try and find a method of bible reading that appeals to you. I am an audio learner so audio bible when I do other things is what I do all the time.
