I had one of these too back in 2014-2015. It went 214 kph downhill taken via gps once.

Once i did 210 with mine though it was downhill but it would have been more if i had more space. On flat road i only did about 203 but i was fully loaded with a lot of fruits and vegetables in the back and a passenger XD. These are great little cars. I love mine.
i had the 1.2 and on flat road reached 185, but 700 rpm below max power.
some wind noise of course but the car runs very smooth and 0 vibrations even at 160+ kmh

Hello. The last "Top Speed" video was a little bit uphill. That is the reason.
This video is on straight motorway. Not uphill, not downhill.

why?
I'm planning on buying one of these this year but I live at an elevation of about 1,850 m. The car seems plenty quick enough in this video, but it probably won't go this well where I live.
Suzukis are underrated. The most fun car suzuki ever made is actually not the swift its the ignis sport. They are geting old now and they didnt build alot of them
Anyone has slight shaking of the engine and clicking noise when engine is cold?

is it ok to get one with over 200k km ? i would like to getr a car for daily driving to work 25-30 kms daily.
Ich hab den alten mit 5 Gang. Auf der Bahn fehlt echt der 6te.
Ansonsten bin ich absolut zufrieden.
Was mir bei diesem Auto extrem auffällt ist, dass es deutlich mehr Leistung bringt, wenn es warmgefahren ist. Der Unterschied ist absolut spürbar. Also auf den ersten Kilometern fahre ich nicht über 3000 r/min. Wenn die Kühlernadel in der Mitte steht und dann nochmal ein paar km drauf kommen und das Getriebeöl warm ist, dann hat der Swift seinen vollen Bums. Ist das bei deinem auch so??🤔

'modernen' Hyundai's so das die bis zu einer gewissen Betriebstemperatur elektronisch abgeriegelt sind

@@autotesttv_ger4994 ich hatte den wagen schon vor 3 jahren auf meiner unbedingt kaufen liste.. habe mich dann aus vernunft für einen kombi entschieden.. nun kommen aber immer stärkere Gedanken die sagen "scheiss drauf, kaufen".. Habe dann mal bei spritmonitor geschaut und die ersten paar haben schon teilweise 230.000 km runter ! :D ohne dass die groß reparaturen vermerkt haben
Ja die sind schon sehr stabil. Kein wunder fast alle Rennfahrzeug Vermieter an der Nordschleife das auto als mietfahrzeug hatten. Nur bei dem Vorgänger mit 125PS und 5-Gang muss man ein bisschen vorsichtig mit dem 3-Gang umgehen. Die erste 3 Baujahren des Modells haben Getriebe Problemen gehabt. Aber die Baureihe im video, also der nachfolger, war extrem stabil, fast unkaputtbar..

About 8,5L. I love my swift and the engine :-)
I am around 7.5- 8 L in smooth city driving.
