  • Wines of Romania - Pure Experiences is a documentary film shot as a travelogue that follows Robert Marshall, an Englishman living in Romania, throughout his journey to discover Romanian wineries and their surrounding regions.
Robert is a wine specialist who wanted to learn more about Romanian grape varieties and so he travelled around the country, during weekends, to discover where these vines grow and learn more about their history. In this episode, Robert travels to the birthplace of the white grape variety - Fetească Regală.
Cycling around the countryside, Robert visits several places in central Romania and experiences the beautiful landscapes and an authentic culture, rich in history. He meets people passionate about their lives and work and they share with him their unique experiences and stories.
He smiles, laughs and even dances with them, tastes local wines, savours delicious home-cooked dishes and this hugely enjoyable experience is captured and documented for us.
A project of ReVino and Black Hat Production.

My God! Is this a dream? Is it a native English speaker going full power Romanian? I didn't think that was possible. Well there is a first time for everything. Thx for having some balls!

Foarte frumos! Am observat , din pacate doar o singura crama pusa in acest documentar, la inceput, iar in restul documentarului se vorbeste despre mancaruri si traditii. Vor mai fi si alte episoade?

The question is, who is gonna build in the future....Our ancestors the hungarians and germans who built, are gone and we are gone too all over the world.
I wish I could have stayed in my home coutry Transylvania, I wish Transylvania was never given to Romania.
We would all of us be still at home, and Transylvania would be the most beautiful, most divers and most developed country on earth.
What a pity that all that beauty was destroyed, and the destruction continues until today unfortunately.😟

      Transilvania, Ardealul,
with our ancestral lands, when our ancestors build this homelands,
the Hungarians were not even formed, they came in Europe starting with 7th century.
When Apulum(Alba Iulia), Roman castro from the 1st century was in actual Transilvania, your "ancestors", they didn't even know if they would ever exist, maybe only mongols from Mongolia.
Cluj -Napoca, Castrum Clus, long before the Germans.
Cursed be those who deny the pure history of Transylvania, do not wake up forever!
