How wonderful that you finally get to go home and see your family! And the books you chose are quite intriguing. I added Claiming the B.. and Walk through Fire to my TBR. I tend to listen to audiobooks when I’m flying. Travel safely! ❤
I’m glad you found a book for your flight. Safe travels! My most memorable and enjoyable reading experience was during travel home from Paris to Edmonton some years ago. I watched movies on the first leg, but then I had a 4-hour layover in Toronto. I had saved Michael Ondaatje’s Divisidero especially for this flight home. Started it while waiting for my flight in Toronto and finished it as the plane touched down in Edmonton. And I loved the book.
Have a good trip home! Romance is the best for planes haha, perfect distraction. On my last flight I read Ten Thousand Stitches by Olivia Atwater and it was perfect ❤ I love the concept of the Try a Chapter tag, I always enjoy watching Try a Chapter videos :) I hate long flights, but not because of boredom but because of anxiety 🙈 I hate flying 😥
I have so many bookish memories related to vacations. When I go through my goodreads I can always think "I read that in x" or "I read that in y". The books may not be memorable in and of themselves, but because I read them on vacation, they end up being kind of special. Therefore, I tend to obsess on what I'm going to read (and knit) while on vacation. I spend 5 minutes on what clothes to pack and 5 hours on what to read!
I hope you have had/are having a lovely trip home, good visiting etc. AND found something entertaining to read on the way! I had vacation at the start of the month and read 4 romances while on the trip! But all were middling 3 stars 😂
Ohhh, both Claiming the B and Walk Through Fire sound interesting! If you do end up reading those, I'll be very curious about what you end up thinking of them. For me, I find audiobooks are very good while traveling. I just started listening to An Immense World by Ed Yong because we were on a bit of a road trip, and it's amazing so far. Hope your trip goes well!
how are you so organized even on your e-reader 😆my e-reader is like a diaster haha. Good luck on the plane! added Claiming the B in LGBT to my tbr right away XD

I love how many books a long flight means getting through! Have a great trip! :)

That was a windy day! Safe travels!
You always inspire me to actually tackle my ereader tbr. It’s so easy to forget how stuffed it can get 😅
It's amazing what's hiding on our ereaders! The Shop Your Shelves challenge has been a great kick in the pants for me on this front.
I love trying to guess what your Booktube Prize books are. I don't think I've ever been right 😂
You'll have to let me know if you guessed my Booktube Prize group this round! And you have a 50% chance for the semis, at least 😉💕
