25:24 I would say its more of a default Ouroboros or basic Kevesi one (like Noah's or Matthew's) with an artificial metal exoskelleton above, maybe to control it. Noah's ouroboros form also was purple with cores insode but had some metallic/white structures around the neck and the back. And Matthew's... well. He borrowed Ares assets such as the shoulders, arm plates and the things in the mech "ear eyes". Back to the idea of controlling it, as this is a skell where pilots come inside instead of fusing to create it... are they piloting a ouroboros "corpse", or like in evangelion, the armor is just to restrain and control the "thing" inside. Maybe the skell does have someone or a will of its own (separate from the pilots) and that's where the line: this skell was always leading the way, guiding us where we are needed" comes into place
Grea Vid, the only thing I would point out is the Art that ImperfectWorks has been showing with the ring is from the XC3 Art Book and not the XCX Art of Mira one. It's still compelling tho as the two do have vastly similar designs but its still worth noting
1:10:33 Not Dmitri exactly but a human samaarian scientist with a similar role/thinking as dmitri, klaus and krellian. Someone who wanted to become a god, to ascend, someone who would throw away his humanity in search for divinity
Remember that there are 2 arms and armor developers that make silly looking gear one more than the other but their choices are not as "serious" for the situation as the rest devs. Maybe the new character is working in higher ranks for them or even is one of the owners. The Helmet has at it sides almost the same design wings of the candid and credible for female armor series
I don't think X takes place on the same timeline. I believe the series is acting on a cycle of evolving universes. X is either 1. The intersection of various universes within a broader multiverse, or 2. A pocket dimension that acts as the origin point of Zed gaining physical form. I lean toward the second and believe the player avatar to be U-DO. This part does regard Saga and Gears: U-DO stores data from past universes and inserts it into the next iteration. This causes the advancement of technology to accelerate with each new reset. Xenoblade 1 is stuck at a much more rudimentary technology than 2 because Zanza doesn't allow it to advance. I'm basically applying the principle that allows Vandham to keep popping up or for Fiora to be Lucky Seven on a universal scale. Similar recurring events and people happen but are made radically different by the past versions of themselves. See N vs. Noah: same person, very different lives. All I'm doing is just expanding a constantly present concept to a larger scale. It also addresses continuity with the Klaus experiment. I'd go further and suggest "aliens" in X started as mutated humans from the type of human experiments in Gears. The animal hybrid species of the Blade games are the eventual result.
What do you think of all our insane theories?? What is your craziest Xenoblade X theory? Lmk in the comments!
Thanks for having me on! This story never truly ends...
It does not, and it will continue on in X2!!
Get X canon pilled, join the cult.

Love the long form gaming discussions

Ahhhhh ok I should've cross referenced that lol. Especially with how much I've been flipping through Art of Mira recently 😅 Thanks for watching!
Dropping a love and comment, cause I know Xenoblade X Spoilers are present in this, and y'know I'm new to X lol
Can't wait for the game
Can't wait for you to try it!
I'm betting the new skell is the President's daughter
Yeah probably. Luxin predicted that too.
Had to pass due to spoilers but this is a day one for me!
