Definitely unsafe. Being that close and not knowing how much ice below (remember that a large portion of the berg is below the waterline) is a recipe for disaster. Bergs break in unpredictable ways, and roll as their center of gravity changes with breakage. I wouldn't be doing that!! And tip to the cameraman: stop the pointless zooming. Nothing was gained by zooming.
