    Went from Lian Li 0111 dynamic xl (not the evo) to this case. Antec P1 is well made. I love it. Fits my 4090 ROG Strix without side panel touching the 12vhwpr cable, unlike the lian li. Kept stock 3 Front 140 and 120mm rear, added 3 x 120 bottom for gpu. similar fan config as Lian Li,. Same temps idle and load. Lian Li is great, got sick of the side panel access, loose slotting of panels, and aquarium look. Antec panels buttons up tight and independently removable, good balance of conservative and gaming appearance. At first did not like the look but when you see it, it will grow on you.

    Hi Stuart, another great build as usual. The dual 360 radiators with 60 mm thickness show how roomy it is. Nice case and video.

      @@sidha22It doesn't look like there would be room. You might be able to mount one on the bottom of the case somewhere. Plenty of room above the PSU shroud.

    There's a lot of youtubers that I used to watch for things like deep dives into cases, but over the last year or 2; you've replaced them all.
    They've become bored having millions of subscribers and give little more than "they sent me this case and you could probably do "x" with it. the end (*cough Jay)" Meanwhile you are going into incredible detail (enough that a balls out custom loop could be 95% safely planned just from watching your video) and then including some of highest quality builds out there, just as a demo.

    With three fans installed on the outside and a 27mm thick radiator would a push pull with six total fans be possible and if so how much would it improve cooling performance?

    Loved my Antec 1200, now i dont know what i think about this brand

  • @Dexx1s
    @Dexx1s ปีที่แล้ว

    So this is the same price as the Phanteks G500a, which comes with 3 ARGB fans, and is pretty much the same same save for the temp screen. The G500a is $30 less if you get the one without fans. For watercooling, you're not looking at the CPU and GPU temps much anyway. And Phanteks is a more well known brand already. I'm not sure who this case is really targeting.

    • @MarshallFlores
      @MarshallFlores ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are a few differences, including the Antec supporting up to 3x 120mm fans in the PSU shroud. Aesthetically the Antec is more my taste as well, with no PSU shroud cutout (which I kinda dislike), and grommets instead of those sliding door covers for cable management holes.

    • @Alexlin1124
      @Alexlin1124 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not only temp display, removable top bracket for easy building, better performance fans, much bigger bottom filter and gpu airflow, 8 x PCI expansion... There are many features better than g500a.

    • @Dexx1s
      @Dexx1s ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MarshallFlores Those fans on the shroud do pretty much nothing given that it's not really pulling air from outside of the case. It's being blocked by the PSU, cables and the drive cage. If they'd copied the Lancool 3 it would actually make sense.
      Everything else there is aesthetics and the G500A's aesthetics easily wins. It comes with 3 ARGB fans and the LED strips from the get go.
      So this case appeals to like 100 people. Still not seeing why they'd invest in making this case.

    • @Dexx1s
      @Dexx1s ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Alexlin1124 Having 8 slots isn't by any means a "better feature". Just about nothing is getting to that bottom slot. If you're going to reach that hard, you're not going to win. The G500 has a drain port, comes with an anti-sag bracket, has three dedicated slots for vertical GPU mounting and comes with the vertical mount. All you need is the riser. The G500A also has the hold right below the GPU so they don't have to wrap all the way back under the fans of the GPU. Oh and the front bracket of the G500A comes off.
      The bottom filter doesn't matter that much when most of it is blocked by cables and the drive tray. That 2 degree temp drop isn't really wroth the two extra fans. And adding three is asinine given that it would be right above the PSU, which takes up at least a fan's size of that space at the bottom.
      I can really just buy the fanless G500A then add in my own fans if you're really actually looking for performance. Hell, I can buy a 5 pack of P14 fans for #0
      This case doesn't really have much appeal other than maybe the aesthetic of the front, which is pretty close to the North. The display at the top is all it really has, and most would just add an LCD to a different case, and get more info.

    • @Alexlin1124
      @Alexlin1124 ปีที่แล้ว

      8 x pci expansion means more distance between PSU shroud and GPU, you could install fans on shroud to blow your GPU. The bottom side is full-size air inlet , if you require better storage speed and no need in 3.5” hdd. The fans on shroud will be very useful to GPU.
      That's a BIG difference with G500a.
