Hi dear am loving ur channel.. thanks for sharing God bless you..my question is can I bring together the yellow corn, Millet and gennie corn together to form dis power,I mean nomal soaked , blend and dryed it together thanks
Pls i did mine and it came out well but after a few days it started becoming mould kind of....is the fault with the plastic i use in storing it or what....note:its a rubber plastic with cover
I think that's the problem coz i did dry it completely but after i grind it i forgot that it would still be very hot i just left it inside the plastic and cover it like that...and its the same plastic that i use to go and grind it🤦🤦
Hello Madam, I hope respond to this, I want to make this and sell in large quantity, I hope using the locally made oven won't change the colour and taste
@@ChiomaIkejiofor so I guess there is no difference between pap powder and custard powder except for the flavour and egg yoke colour that is added to custard right?
I beg to differ. This isn't custard powder. This is superior to custard powder because it's's fermented corn starch. Custard powder is simply unfermented corn starch, spiked with anatto oil and banana flavor but it's still indigestible crud. There's a reason the sick in Nigeria, are given ogi not custard. Fermented foods like ogi, whole milk yogurt, kimchi etc, provide your body with beneficial probiotic bacteria which aid digestion and general well-being.
I share recipes you can use personally because they are in small quantities. I don't know about commercialization and the processes....I believe there should be.
Ah ah we used to throw away left overs of pap now I got it it's nomore going to waste dankie a lot especially as the economy is biting this will be handy
Thank you for this tutorial. I came to TH-cam solely for this and you gave me this right lesson. Thank you

Thank you Ngozi. I think its okay to do that too

Thank you so much

Thank you for this
You are welcome
Please mma I don't have blender what will I use
Nice video! Thanks for the info,
But can I use the local oven to do this, the one made with sand and set over the stove
Thank you. I am not really sure about that as I've never tried it. You can do and see how it goes
If you do dat it will boil and sticky, just use natural sun
Can i just use it wity
Ma please how long does it last?
Can I use cooking gas dat haven oven under it
You can try but it's not the same
Hello ma’am can I store in a ziplock bag for travel purposes ? Or it’s safer with the air tight container
So long as the ziplock is airtight, I guess it can be fine.
Can u dry wit microwave
How long can it last
J'en ai besoin comment faire
Thank you ma'am. Pls can I dry it with a regular gas oven? Because I don't have a dehydrator
You can but reduce it on very low heat.
@@ChiomaIkejiofor Ait ma'am. Thank you so much
This is soooo nice 👍
A life saver 😊
But can I use a microwave instead of an oven ?
Thank you 😊. I don't think a microwave will be suitable.
Great
Thank you
Please ma, can I use a normal electric oven without dehydrator?
It is not the same
How long can this be stored?
As long as it is dried well I believe it has a long shelf life... 6 months maybe. I make mine in small batches that I finish in one month though
I'm first here 💃💃💃
Apart from sun and oven ,is there any other way of drying may be like stove or with gas
A dehydrator can be used
Enjoyed your vlog 🥰
Thank you 😊
Will it get rid of the smell and can I add any flavour of my choice
Mine doesnt smell and I guess you can mix in flavors
Pls, whats the name of the paper-like material you laid in the pan before spreading the pap, i need to get it . Thanks.
It's a greaseproof baking paper
Can i use oven to dry it
You can try with very low heat
Please where can I buy this dehydrator
And how much ma please
Check amazon or argos defending on where you are.
Do you grind with a blender? There is no heavy duty grinder around here
I used my blender at home
Can I use foil paper in place of this?
I don't understand your question. Can you explain where you use foil paper in place. If its the baking sheet, yes you can.
@@ChiomaIkejiofor Yes, thanks
Does this process still retain the colour of the pap?
You get the colour of the corn used...white from white corn or yellow from the yellow corn.
Pls i did mine and it came out well but after a few days it started becoming mould kind of....is the fault with the plastic i use in storing it or what....note:its a rubber plastic with cover
A moist environment will cause mould. Either, the pap powder did not dry completely or where you stored it wasn't dried well.
I think that's the problem coz i did dry it completely but after i grind it i forgot that it would still be very hot i just left it inside the plastic and cover it like that...and its the same plastic that i use to go and grind it🤦🤦
What do u think i can do or has it spoilt coz its for my baby
I would make a new one if I were you. I wouldn't give this one to my baby or anyone.
Uses for kids babies??
Yes you can use for baby
@@ChiomaIkejiofor how to use that mam
@@uroosashahzahi2756 keep an eye. Will make a video
@@ChiomaIkejiofor oky waiting for that thnkss
I did mine, but the taste is different from the normal pap. My children couldn't drink it because of the taste
I wonder why? 🤔. The taste can be altered depending on the corn, how long it was soaked and how fast it was dried. Sorry to hear that.
Hello again, I tried doing the pap, the hot water time, it came out like soaked garri😭
🤣🤣🤣 see ehh, pap can disgrace even the most professional pap maker. Keep trying and make the cold slurry a bit thicker first.
@@ChiomaIkejiofor Alright, I will try making it thicker
Hello Madam, I hope respond to this, I want to make this and sell in large quantity, I hope using the locally made oven won't change the colour and taste
But this is custard powder na
Exactly Doreen (lo). I am going to talk about it in my new video.

Well done Mummy's yum
I tried my own powered pap but I noticed it was having a foul odour. Pls what could have caused it?
Sorry to hear that. You need to check why...maybe where or how you dried it. Was it left covered for long before drying?
@@ChiomaIkejiofor No I didn't leave it for long. I started sun drying immediately after I used my hand to break it into smaller pieces
Please can I have your contact? I want to start commercializing it.
You may have to try it again to see how it turns out and then know if you can pinpoint what happened.
