    What's the mode for baking cookies? Do we need to switch on both the coils or just down

    Your description says baking soda instead of powder

  • @nitaspastries
    @nitaspastries ปีที่แล้ว

    But what if you use cake flour, instead of AP flour. Cos I know the corn starch and ap flour = cake flour.

    They look delicious!! I just have a question: in the video you add baking powder, but on your ingredient list you wrote baking soda, which one is it?

    Lovely recipe. Shouldn’t there be an acid like say vinegar to react with the baking soda or it doesn’t matter?

    • @Tehillah06
      @Tehillah06 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also does the dough needs to be chilled?

    • @NeuroticMomBakes
      @NeuroticMomBakes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Salt is what reacts with baking soda or baking powder. No chilling necessary

    What is the difference of food coloring and red food gel?

    • @meexua9568
      @meexua9568 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are using powdered food coloring in a recipe that does not contain water as a solvent You will find patches of pigment as it is not 100% soluble.
      Gel colors are suitable for food that does not contain water. It mixes well with the ingredients. and easy to use
      And if you make desserts with 2 or more colors The gel color will not absorb into another color.

    Can I substitute the flour for Red velvet CAKE MIX? I want to use the cake mix but I see your cookies and they look delicious without it 😪 please reply to me 🙏

      I would recommend using the cake mix. It doesn't taste like an original

      @@NeuroticMomBakes Tony's comment may have come across as rude, but I think (maybe) he meant protecting your hands from stains from the coloring gel. I loved the video!!
