I’m an old music loving mom from the 74 who was in love with George Michael ,taught to love Queen by my mom, loved concerts by Depeche Mode ,Guns ‘n Roses & George of cause! I cried so hard when Freddie died but we have the BEST male vocal here, Adam Lambert 2020 and big respect that he didn’t sell his soul to get more followers. His voice will do the job for him, the best singer in many years ❤️❤️❤️

Sorry, but as someone else has said, WHY would Freddie feel 'proud' that another singer is singing Queen songs. How would YOU feel if you were a really great singer and then another great singer comes along who starts getting compared to you, in that he can now 'take over' from you. Most normal people (be honest, now) would feel a bit put out. I think that Adam Lambert is great and have seen him live with Queen - it was wonderful, so am definitely not anti-Adam (far from it), but when numerous people have said that 'Freddie would be proud', I really couldn't imagine him looking down from 'on high' (or wherever he is), and saying, 'Atta boy, that's right, take over from me, then they can forget me.' (Please don't say, 'He will never 'take over' from Freddie - that is a different subject. I'm just talking about how FREDDIE would view it.)

You're talking from the perspective if he were alive and obviously there would be no need for Adam, but this is an Adam solo concert, so it would maybe be a normal cover then, like he did on american idol and Smokey Robinson gave him a standing ovation and applause.
