Caroline - you're such a tonic! 12 months or so ago, watching your videos gave me confidence to start wearing makeup to work and I fount it joyful Since lockdown and working from home, I've got out of the habit - but I'm off to put some makeup on now. Thanks again for the inspiration :)
Hi Caroline! I loved this video. Its so true, a bright cheerful lipstick really does wonders for the face. Its like someone shining a lovely bright light on the face. I absolutely love my orangey red lipsticks. Have never tried a Pat McGrath one though. I love my lovely Mac orange lipstick. On another note, Ive spent absolute ages looking for the right eyebrow colour ( who knew it was so hard). I quit colouring my hair so its now a lovely soft silvery colour with odd splashes of my original dark brown. Every eyebrow product I bought was either too dark or it was almost an orange brown colour. The other day I decided to try a Max Factor Brow Shaper pencil. OMG! Im in love! Its the absolute perfect match ( I got it in deep brown) and with the fine point its great for filling in the eyebrows that decided to vacate the premises. Im sure you will know this product well but just thought I would share this for any other silver haired ladies who are facing a similar dilemna. Have a great week and stay safe xx
Hi Caroline, you make me laugh at how wonderful you are at laughing at yourself, it’s a great quality! You’re my top MUA to watch and I trust your knowledge, tips, and advise of your profession. Thank you again and keep up the good work, it’s most appreciated! 😊
Caroline , I just found you and I am excited to watch and get your perspective🙌🏻 I am a holistic master esthetician with over thirty years of practical knowledge with skin and skin products. I am 54 and I don’t do anything invasive to my skin and you look like you don’t either? Excited to watch. 🙌🏻🍑Lisa
I just got a fringe a few weeks ago, after 20 years of no fringe. It was a random idea that popped in my head, and I thought, well, why not? And I love it! I have a large-ish forehead, and small, deep-set, hooded eyes, and to me it seems like the fringe changes my face shape and makes my eyes look bigger (the change of proportions). I also love that I'm not reaching to tuck my hair behind my ears all the time, like I did before. I think you should go for it! It's a fun change in this crazy season. 😊
Super flattering look 💋 we all need a touch of colour in these dismal days and this really ticks all my boxes I love Saturdays and my ‘quiet’ time with you lol xx Thanks sooo much xx 😘
Side swept fringes are so easy and you can always use product to keep it back if you don’t want it for a particular day ... love mine and hides my non botoxed forehead. Just slightly softer around my face.
Caroline, I love your videos. They are as cheering as a bright lipstick! I liked seeing the blush and lipstick combo because I wouldn’t think a coppery cheek would go with bright lips, but it looks beautiful. I guess it is the way bronzer looks good with any lip color. I think it would be great to add in suggestions for specific products that also suit darker skin (e.g. a blush that would work for this look) so that there are options for all. Sending best wishes and 💗 from California.
Hello Caroline! The way you express your ideas and feelings is so cativant, congratulations for that. Love the clean, simple and elegant look! Thank you, have a nice week!
I have been scared of bold colours but I have been going for it recently and it’s makes such a difference to your mood. It’s just a matter of getting used to the bold lip. Great tutorial as always. Thank you
Caroline you are my cheerful Saturday shot of coffee ☕, thank you for always bring your smiling face every week, love the lip. Donkey years! Love it USA.
Absolutely loved this Caroline. I've been living for this break and desperately need a pick me up. I'm very tempted by the Perricone, Smashbox TM and the brow ink. I'm pleased to confirm I've been layering my mascara since you recommended it to me almost 10 years ago. It makes such a difference! x
Hey Caroline, I wondered if you could offer a bit of advice, I’ve recently had chemo so I’ve gone from curly chin length dyed brown hair to Annie Lennox style in steel grey, my skin took a hit but I’ve almost got on top of that now. The issue is my make up has needed to change and I need to go stronger on the lips, any recommendations of colours/brands? I’m middle aged so lips are drier and less defined. My eyes have always been my best feature so I have always concentrated my make up in that area but lips I’ve not bothered so much with, all ideas welcome! By the way anyone who has very little brow I’ve found benefit brow zings pro palette really seems to do a decent job. Take care and stay safe x
I’m also a cancer survivor and I had hoped that my hair would grow back in grey but it didn’t. It’s darker with stripes of grey and a different tone (less warm) than it was before. I also have very, very sparse brows. My favorite lipsticks are either colored lip balm by Kiehl’s (the berry is nice and not overwhelming) and the “saints” from Lipstick Queen. They’re lighter and more moisturizing than the matte “sinners.” I really like saint nude and saint wine. They also have some colors that are a lot like tinted balms, particularly Medieval (a sheer red), Frog Prince which is green in the tube and turns a pretty pink to match your lips, and Hey, Sailor which is blue in the tube and turns a pretty, soft berry. Another nice tinted treatment balm that does this is by it cosmetics called “je ne sais quoi” that comes in different colors. I also use Kiehl’s Buttermask for Lips every night. I would continue to emphasize your eyes, especially with a pixie cut and keep the lips subdued because nothing helps eyes stand out like a very short cut (or just starting to grow back hair). You can always intensify any of the sheer colors/balms by applying a liner all over first. XO
Hi Cheryl, same here ; ) happily recovering. What I definitely need with the new gray is warmth in my skintone, so I use a bronzer every day together with the waterblush in spice by Daniel Sander because it looks so natural and lasts. I always carry some nude lipliner (mostly CT because they last so well) in my bag to define the lip shape - and top it off with lipstick or just colored gloss. And I emphasize the eyes more than I used to too (Marc Jacobs has a great shade I use as a "shaping" base called "the big O", then I take off from there : ) It is more work, but it makes me feel a lot better on those blah days. Take care and stay safe too!
The eyeko mascara is my absolute favourite. Great wand, easy to build, doesn’t clump, smudge or flake. I’ve been using it for a couple of years but haven’t noticed any difference in lash growth.
Hi Caroline, I loved this quick pick me up look the lippy is gorgeous and looks so pretty against your skin ,I really loved the eye look too so easy and effortless and of corse I do love max factor cream blush and I have that colour myself and love it , nice colour foils you've had done adds a real depth to your hair too mind you I love the blonder colour as well, actually I think you could pull off a fringe quite easily, thanks again I do enjoy your video's, take care ,stay safe, well and happy all the best Mary in Australia 🌻
I love the look. It does brighten your face. I may splurge on a Pat Magrath lipstick. I've heard nothing but great reviews. You're always such a joy for my Saturday mornings. Enjoy your week.
Colorful lips looks great on you! I am intrigued by the Halo Product as I have always wanted to try your favorite Max Factor tinted moisturizer but it is very hard to find in the United States - even Amazon is often sold out. I say yes to the "fringe" - if you're unsure you could always dip your toe in and get more of a side swept or curtain bang which is a bit less of a commitment. I did that recently and am really enjoying it. I find is softens my face and help me look a bit more youthful. Plus, 2020 is the year of change - even if you don't like the fringe it grows and let's face it we're all inside so much so less people are going to see it lol! Except for you youtube folks and we love you no matter what!
I LOVE that colour lipstick, it looks great on you. Most seem to like the nude lip (ok if you are in your 20's) but colour is much more interesting and glam.
Wow that lipstick is brilliant in terms of colour & ease of application 😁 We're in lockdown again so am in my pj's, but just gotta add some bright lipstick now after watching this 💋
Love this look! very Parisian 🇫🇷 for anyone scared of a bold lip. I love using Glossier generation g in zip. Needs a couple of coats to get to bright red.
Mac shape and Shade is my all time go too for my brows. I don’t use the powder end as I have pretty full brows just with some spareness - I am on my third one and it beats everything else hands down
Morning are you at footie training again today while we watch you snuggled up on our sofas with our coffees 🤔 you make me smile. Your make up tips are so easy to follow. I always use my fingers for better coverage (in my humble opinion) to apply foundation and a brush to buff in if I need to. The coral lip is a dream on you I prefer to play up my eyes now as I am scared of colour on my lips as their once luscious shape has morphed into a sliver of a mouth 😂😢 😂😢 have a great day 🥰🥰
I loved this, I know you probably get told this a lot but you are just so pretty. Talking about probiotics, Wayne Goss recommended Aurelia skin care, I bought the eye serum he loves and it’s so good, they sent me a couple of samples too and I think I’m going to buy some more from them as I’m hooked! I think I’ve mentioned the Nira skin laser before to you, I’ve had great results with it. It’s FDA approved for around the eyes but people use it everywhere and it’s really helped my lip lines. Jennifer Joyce Beauty has had amazing results with it if you wanted to have a look.
I love Saturday mornings watching you with my coffee. Would that perricone instant blur work under eyes? Is it just the one shade? My under eyes are the bane of my life as I have vitiligo , so can't use anything too chalky in colour, I've spent £££'s on different concealer. But thank God for make up.
Beautiful lipstick color. I can't wait to wear lipstick out and about again. I have to say, when you licked the q-tip I flinched. That brings back too many memories of my mom wiping my face with her spit. Shudder.
Hi caroline. Love the look of the smashbox tinted moisturiser but can you offer any advice on how to choose a shade when shopping online or in store now we are no longer allowed to test make up ? Thanks x
Thank you I really enjoyed this video and love the look. I was wondering if you could do a look on a budget? I want to spend more money on some of my make up but unsure on which products to spend more and which products I can get away with on a budget. Thank you x
Caroline, would you mind sharing where your T-shirt is from? It looks so soft and comfortable! I have a beautiful mariniere from Arket, but it makes me feel like "Tin-Women", the fabric is so stiff...
Lovely look Caroline and joy gratefully received. 💕 Learning so much from your channel - thank you. 💗 Would you have any tips please for blueness around the eye sockets? I’ve tried a lot of concealers and colour correctors but nothing seems to work that well. Perhaps it’s my application, I always think that the area ends up looking a bit parched looking. Thanks xx
Such a stunning look Caroline, it really suited you. Wish I could wear a bright lip but my lips are too thin. Incidentally some of this video seemed out of focus - or maybe I need to go to Specsavers?
Hello beautiful lady I do love your videos and I wonder if you can tell me When one uses concealer should I buy a darker one or should it be lighter Or one to match your Make up I just do not know at all Please could tell me may be I miss a video of yours on same Thank You so much See you at the week end Take Care B. U K. X
Your lipstick upper lip only, smack together and then finger blend is a game changer. Genius.
Caroline - you're such a tonic!

Brilliant simple make up application with only a handful of products. That's how it should be. Love it!!
A longish fringe would look gorgeous 😍 soft and flattering

A wonderful look on you and great tips of how to use 'nature's tools' and not an endless array of brushes.
Yes a fringe would look gorgeous
So fab- that colour really suits you!
Absolutely stunning Caroline,

Love your attitude towards makeup, "I just feel really lovely in it". Such a good message to send, help us all try & think more that way.
Loved all those products, fabulous. A long fringe would look great on you Caroline.😊
I have been scared of bold colours but I have been going for it recently and it’s makes such a difference to your mood. It’s just a matter of getting used to the bold lip. Great tutorial as always. Thank you

Fabulous! We do all need a pick me up sometimes. Thank you.
Loved this on you😊Will give it a go tomorrow morning !
Lash alert is really really good.
Have you tried castor oil or revitalash for your brows yet? Definitely helping mine. That and having HD.
Mac shape and Shade is my all time go too for my brows. I don’t use the powder end as I have pretty full brows just with some spareness - I am on my third one and it beats everything else hands down
Hi Caroline
Lovely look today, I might brave a bold lip now! I also think you would look great with a fringe 🥰
Love this lip color...for fun I tried it with a monochromatic look and it was too much...i think what you did is perfect. Need to try this!
Thanks for an aesthetically joyful video! 🌷😊
Thank you for leaving in your mishaps, which made the video all the more enjoyable and relatable. :)
Love this look - very french ❤️
Thank you, Caroline! XO Lipcolor is stunning on you. Hope you are well :)
That lipstick is gorgeous on you! Emma x

But thank God for make up.
I have just bought it in Amazon, it is reduced now. Still a bit pricey, but it looked great smoothing the lines in the upper lip 👍
Cute look today x
Wow! You look so lovely. I want to buy everything you are wearing in this video!! 💋❤
Beautiful lipstick color. I can't wait to wear lipstick out and about again.
I have to say, when you licked the q-tip I flinched. That brings back too many memories of my mom wiping my face with her spit. Shudder.
wouldn't mind skipping that part. Not fun to watch. :/
You look pretty!
Hi caroline. Love the look of the smashbox tinted moisturiser but can you offer any advice on how to choose a shade when shopping online or in store now we are no longer allowed to test make up ? Thanks x
Loved all your recommendations, especially that lipstick! You look beautiful? ❤️
You look stunning 🥰 could you recommend a cheaper lipstick of similar colour? That’s a gorgeous shade 💄💋 xx

Hi! That orange shade looks absolutely gorgeous on you Caroline! :-) Is the Eyeko mascara that you used a tubing one? Thanks xx
Fringe for sure!! They make everything look cooler.
I like the look of the tinted moisturiser would you use a primer before?
Missha bb cream is a nice too.
Please could you talk more about dermaplaning? And yes to the fringe!
Hi Caroline, which is your favorite lash serum? I love my Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee and watching your video 💋☕️
Lovely look Caroline and joy gratefully received. 💕 Learning so much from your channel - thank you. 💗

One day I’ll be brave enough to wear a color like that! (Been saying that since my 20s and I’m still not getting any younger....)
Go for it x
You’re beautiful!
I heard recently that cotton buds have been banned here in the UK and one of my first thoughts was what will makeup artists do without them?
Is this tinted moisturizer good for combination to oily skin? Thank you
Made m day perfection ❤️
You look beautiful and dreamy 🌹🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!
You look absolutely gorgeous. xoxo roseingeorgia
I have dreamed my whole life of wearing red lipstick...love that jeans, tshirt and red lip thing. But my lips are a horrible shape 😪
I dot know what it is but it seems to me those that wear dark lip shapes, sort of addes a couple of years to the person's face.
Go for a fringe, so flattering to frame your lovely face.
❤️
The eyeko mascaras is so rubbish its way too wet for me
🙏😉🇦🇺👍💛
No to the fringe. More trouble than it’s worth and the grow out is always a drag.
vol still too low. great look. though
Please don’t get a fringe 😩😬
Don't cut your hair..this current style suits you.
