My 2010 Corolla LE with 126k, has an AC issue. Turn on the AC on a hot summer day even all the way on high setting and it blows warm air for five minutes. After five minutes iI can feel the cool air starting to blow. My mechanic replaced the AC refregeriant but it does not solve the issue.. Will replacing the A/C flow sensor resolve the issue? Is this the same thing as the AC control valve? If you have the part link, it would be great. Thanks!
The live data for my 2010 Camry has no Flow Sensor option. However, it does have a Regulator Control Current (amps) and a Regulator Pressure Sensor (psi) option. Can I use those instead?
What is the actual purpose of this sensor ? why does the voltage fluctuate ? Is it sensing rpm in the pump and sending voltage to open and close a flow valve according to pump speed ?

Thanks for the video, can you explain how it works? i read somewhere that some people are just attaching a magnet when its faulty and the ac works, but i don't understand the consecuence for the performance of the whole system by doing that.😅
The sensor is a hall effect sensor that is activated as refrigerant flows. The sensor at times gets stuck in a value that the module doesn't like and it prevents the compressor from pumping. When you place a magnet it changes the value and the module starts the compressor. I have played around with good sensors and the value changes with flow. However with the aftermarket sensor its a fixed value no matter what so i think it is a resistor instead of a hall effect to fool the module. In effect its doing the same thing as the magnet trick

So the aftermarket one is just a dummy connector, does not do anything other than fooling the system to stay on?
