As a result of this video I was able to replace both dipped lights on my 2006 Xsara Picasso. The right hand light is harder because of the proximity to the screenwash housing but the process is otherwise the same. Thank you very much for making this video, it saved me paying someone more than the cost of the bulbs to fit them for me
Have watched other videos that were no help at all, your camera angle was far better and I did the job in minutes. Saved myself the cost of getting Halfords to fit it for me. Thanks.

That little iron clip you have to release is so damn annoying. Mine's bent just slightly on the driver's side and now I have to use a screwdriver to get it out. I'll address it on my next inspection a month from now. This video was incredibly helpful, would have never known that shitty clip had to be released!

That was last year. Today, I thought I was smarter, and after fiddling with the F&^*ING LEVER FOR AN HOUR, I went home and searched "xsara picasso change headlight". And...You know the rest. Thank you, I owe you a beer. Cheers! (two beers, actually...)

1st of all great video and informative . now my Quest is if FULL lights(beep) r working than y u change the light for dim light which is not working ,it may be a fuse problem or not please guide. i have a same problem wanna verify first whats the prob. driver side dim light not working same like video but i have doubt about the FUSE.
+nextGen One light-bulb has 2 filaments, one filament is for the low beam, the other filament (in the same bulb) is for the high beam. It cannot be changed separately. The filaments are visible at 5:26 in this video.

You can adjust them together ► th-cam.com/video/fQzmq060078/w-d-xo.html. For individual adjustment you have to do some more work. Make sure the bulb is inserted correctly. (I don't have the Citroen anymore)
That clip is killing me. This is one of the stupidest thing on this car. I just can't lock it no matter what. I have to change right front bulb and it just won't lock :/ Other than that video is really good.
That was fantastic spbxl all done in thirty minutes. You got a patreon so I can buy a coffee/beer. FWIW my connectors especially the front left took a lot of force to get off but maybe that was just down to the Nightbreaker contacts? Tried and failed for an hour before myself, Garage said they took off whole headlight assembly
@@furulevi good car! I have now 150'000 km, and works fine. I hope so. The engine works smooth like sugar (benzin) but for the automatic transmission maybe i should change the oil, else nice car.

Still easier to change bulbs comparing to renault megane hatchback 2002-2008. You have to take off the wheel to do that lmao

I gave up dealing with that hook and am using super glue to glue the new bulb. The glued bulb snaps off nicely when its time to put the new one in.
