    Thank for asking @bonnie. My language goal for 2022 is to learn French at a level that I can ask my sister to take me to cool places when I visit her in France for Christmas. I’ve done the trial for Lingoda and I think I’ll sign up to the sprint. Already had one funny experience when one Australian learner spent ages trying to pronounce the letter ‘y’. I thought the class was too advanced for him but then remembered it was the first class. Everyone’s got to start somewhere.
    Merci for the video

    Just finished my first 2 weeks of the German super Sprint. It's been good so far but i wish it was more set up to take all the classes in order. Oftentimes I can't get a class at my preferred time in the lesson plan order which i initially thought a problem, but then noticed that the material is redundant in some sessions so i actually will start skipping some (in the A1 level). Thanks for your video! *And for the older ones too :)

    I've been doing Lingoda for about 7 months (with a break of a week here and there, e.g. over Christmas, and when I caught Covid!). I didn't do the sprint because I knew I simply wouldn't have the time to do it. So I do three lessons a week which for me is a good balance both for time and cost. In that time I've gone from a few French phrases and some academic knowledge of french verbs to level A2 (that I start next week). I started at the very beginning, because I found even though the first lessons are very easy, you still benefit from the interaction with the teachers. My aural comprehension has come on leaps and bounds.
    I've started to read (and enjoy) some simple French stories, and some TV shows too (with the subtitles on). I've still a way to go, but making slow and steady progress! Can't recommend enough!

      @@BonnieVoyage I've spent most of my life on the other side of the country which is an artistic desert 😂 I first went to Cape Town in 2017 for 3 months to study short courses then came back for 2 years to do Photography & Concept Art. It was wonderful, I live in a very bohemian/multicultural area called Observatory and met the most amazing friends. The best part was the galleries the city has so many of all shapes and sized, I ended up befriending someone who owned that threw these events where all sorts of artists could debut their talents. Kind of feels like a dream, I can't wait to go back so I can build my own production company.

    Thanks for all of your advice and videos on Lingoda! Your videos helped me decide to go for it. For me, I made sure that there were no holidays, concerts, birthdays of close friends etc coming up during the Sprint time. I guess that sounds like a boring social life, but you can still do things in the evening if you have a morning class etc.
    One thing for me is that the "practise" section of the website has nothing on it and tells me I need to have a class booked first...despite having already attended classes.
    They replied to me and told me about downloading the lesson materials. I've already been downloading and looking at the lesson materials before each class. Wondering if I am missing extra materials or if the "practise" they mean is literally just to download the presentation of the class?
    Thanks for your videos! They are great, and I think the most informative of all the ones I have watched.

    G'day / Bonjour Bonnie! Je suis content de te revoir! 🙂
    Absolutely did the long 90 day slog last year and was able to complete it! And as you said, the refund happens, it was around 6 ish weeks post sprint.
    I am totally wanting to re join Lingoda (pour le francais, bien sur!) but with a different job now, 90 days would be difficult.
    I think the sprint after mine last year was the first 60 day one that I saw, and I think it is a great idea and actually easier to succeed in as it is a shorter time frame.
    Comment est la vie en France? I am very jealous lol!
    Aus is hot hot hot at the moment, but at least we can almost travel around freely, I think WA is finally opening up in 2 or so weeks.

    I've been binging your videos recently, they are so motivating for my self studying! I even signed up for the July Lingoda Super Sprint session, starting tomorrow! My TL is Spanish, and I'm hoping that with some intense self study of my own and the Sprint, I can go from beginner to a decent level of fluency. Is it alright to book classes nearly day by day? I feel like I should, just in case I sign up for a whole chapter and find that much of it is repetitive. I'm really trying to earn the cashback and following your tips closely! Is there any main thing you suggest out of everything to win?

    • @BonnieVoyage
      @BonnieVoyage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment ! :D that’s awesome nice one 💪 you can book classes day by day but might finded harder to find the exact class u want available. How their platform works if you book in advance say 2/3 week you can keep refreshing the page to get more options bc others haven’t chosen their classes yet whereas more last minute I think this is harder to do. Main thing probably is to set alarms 😳 because life gets busy and even if your super prepared this is pretty important. :)
