This is so sad she’s right take her son back home. The school should have told them about leaving valuables in their car here in the BayArea.
So sad!!! But this would happen in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore,Washington,DC, Cincinnati, Miami, and your home…. Jamaica!!! Word to everyone who goes to a different state for the first time… DO YOUR RESEARCH! And NEVER leave your things in your car!!! Good thing the car was left! I’m so sorry for this… they did not deserve this! So glad the family wasn’t hurt!
My mom had a saying, “ Make sure you know your surroundings “! I live in Alameda,Ca….originally from Philadelphia, and learned early on(I’m 65), to not invite criminals into your space! When you arrive… take your things out of the car before you start hanging out in ANY particular city!
Hopefully this is a lesson well learned…. FOR ANY CITY!
don’t come to oakganistan it’s slimey rite na
The massage advertising sign right behind the reporter is heavily chained to the lightpost...nice place!
So car break-ins are down 60%, huh? Do you believe those stats? I don’t.
Any police department that refuses to come out to get a report should be ashamed. Do yourself a favor: stay out of Oakland. It’s a war zone. And has been for many years. Advice from a Bay Area native.
I think the only shocking thing about this story is that there is a university in downtown Oakland. Even people who live here are like WHAT COLLEGE IS THAT!?? Apparently they only have like 500 students. 🥴😬
I moved from Oakland to Alameda 2 years ago and i never looked back. Sooooooooo much better. Now i literally never go to Oakland anymore for anything. I go to the city, and other surrounding cities, but i skip right on over Oakland
Shes not like us
why they want to pull him out...break-ins are normal and part of everyday life in ca...they are required to accept that...
well its oakland so....
