I built one of your antennas yesterday, you were right. I got 32 local channels, without a reflector or amplifier. I never got that many before. Only about 3 channels not getting good signals. I can probably adjust the direction, and get them to. Thanks for the info, like your videos.
I been watching your channels for some time now and we are tired of paying for cable so I made a small antenna the way you do just to try it and see how many channels we could get I used the scrap stuff I had around the house and made one with only one whisker one each side and it got over 25 channels and I told my wife and she could not believe how clear and how many channels I got now she wants me to build a big one for outside so we can do away with cable And I might say that I am 60 miles from the TV station Thanks Danny
I built this antenna, I also built a Gray Hoverman! I mounted the Gray Hoverman 12 ft up inside the garage rafters, the ultimate antenna I mounted 7 ft inside a closet and it still out performed the Gray.
Danny: Those who give back negative feed back are those who do NOTHING. Some people are just plain unhappy with their inadequacies and they are insecure . Their only recourse is to try to bring down those, such as you, who are doing positive things. In short, heck with them, thy have nothing to bring to the table. Keep up the good work, many of us appreciate your videos. Be Blessed!
Good job, Danny. Hey, where I can get or how can I make a decent converter or balum? The ones I bought have a few tiny wires, and it's hard to strip and solder them. Thank you.
love the videos. enjoy watching to see what you will come up with next .I think im going to add a amplifier to my antenna.liked the one I saw on a video you did but couldn't find which one it was.going to raise the antenna higher first though ,cause what was working in the winter is not doing as well in the summer. I am using the modified gray hoverman antenna.going to add the 28 inch vhf whisker . thanks keep the videos coming
Danny I am a old rf guy and know about this. Great job for a make it home get the wife and roll a bunch of pre-made wire, tubing so all you need to do is assemble when you sell it. Where do you find square tubing and screen for the reflector ? Is that galvanized screening or screen for chicken coop?
Wow, thank you for the very fast response! Should I use 1 large reflector or 2? noticed the one you had was bent on the top side. i assume it was just to keep the additional reflector rigid.
hola. podria escribir las medidas de los materiales que usa, y los materiales en general..?. desde ya muchas gracias.. Hi. Could you write down the measurements of the materials you use, and the materials in general? From already thank you very much..
Hi Danny, Thank you very much for all in informational videos you have allow us to see, they are very helpful! Would you mind answering a couple questions? I noticed the VHF antenna material is different than the UHF cooper, is that material necessary and if so, what is the material? Also, at video time 12:12, you state to install the reflector. The reflector seems to be a different height (further back) than the UHF reflector, are they different heights or just the way the camera picked up the image? If they are different, would you mind posting the distance? Again, Thank you, very much appreciative!
You sound just like a good old Bama boy.You have what it takes to be a ham..Hey man, don't worry about bad comments. The test not hard. Also the Bama people would love to hear you on the radio.Trial and error is what it's all about.
Hi Danny, on the RCA preamp amazon screen shot (8:09) it shows an image of the amp but it does not appear to have the switches. Was it supposed to be the TVPRAMP1R insteasd of the TVPRAMP1Z? or is the TVPRAMP1R switches on the other side? Thanks, Marlon
Buddy i dont know you but i think your alright guy yoir alot like me the stuff you do you will always have someone to to throw off on the work you do but keep your head up and dont let assholes get to u...
How does the Rca booster match up with the channel master 7777 ? Because I have had no luck getting the channel master 7777 to last very long they are strong and when they work are good but they are poor in the last department.
Why the hell would someone give you the business when you tell each of us on TH-cam all the information you could possibly want, PERIOD !!! Give them hell Danny.
