Just Quit a Few days ago . Was an active runner that weighed 165 pounds and on Zero medications and was not smoking any weed . about 8 years ago went through some family Trauma that through me into a deep depression . Started using THC heavily and now weigh 260 pounds and have been diagnosed with BPD and now i’m on 5 medications . This is helping me . Thank you
I quit weed, nicotine, caffeine, alcohol sence October 14th haven't smoked I don't plan on it. It's been 91 days. Thank to you. Now all the money i spent on weed i now have a car and emergency fund for my apartment rent. Also can spend more money on healthy food instead of junk and started working out. Benefits i saw no more hard breathing. 2 i feel high on life i feel dopamine again. 3 motivation came back. 4 saving lots of money. DOWN SIDES my friends look at my like I'm a different person you can see the way people see you differently. Also people keep trying to get me to smoke and I'm not going to, feel like blasting them in the face
I wanted to let you know that one of your techniques helped me a lot. I quit a week before new years and then like 4 or 5 days in the year i bought a pre roll and smoked it. Instead of feeling guilty and saying screw it🤷♂️ im in it again, i realized that it was just a lapse and i can still continue on my sober journey. Thank you.
I just quit 3 days ago at 3am because i was smoking multiple times a day from 4pm to 4am.. I quit because it was affecting my relationship, i was lying constantly about what i was doing and a zombie in other peoples perspectives. I have tried quitting before but its been 3 years since i’ve gotten past a week. I am so emotional thinking about the amount of time wasted and money aswell. Its good too tell your trusted friends and family about your desire to quit. It motivates you to not only quit for yourself, but for the people around you who have seen the person you have become. I went out to my friend today who was smoking. I didnt smoke and I threw up when i left the carpark. Its not fun. but not knowing the person you were before you were clean is a scary thing. I started at 13 and am now 18. I have ibs and started smoking for my stomach. These videos have helped me so much. I cant wait to see the new version of myself so i can finally treat myself with respect and honestly. I never want to go through these withdraws again. Its horrible. We’ve had our fun. I know every one of you will quit when you realise how much your life is falling apart. Its more than just a joint.
@ Theres really no good way of dealing with it just keeping spare pairs of underwear close. Having a warm shower right before bed helped and also don’t fight exhaustion as soon as your tired put the phone down and try sleep.
over 6 months being sober after some horrible psychosis episodes, thank you for your videos that keep me going❤️ could have never imagined my life without weed and now im here as sb completely else and sb much more happier
Starting watching your videos on Christmas eve and haven't had a smoke since then. The first couple days were a bit stressful but I passed the time watching your videos and going for walks. What resonated with me most was when you said that smoking isn't a cure for boredom. It just makes you ok with being bored. So here I am today still smoke free....re-learning to live a normal life without any superficial crutches. Honestly, it feels like I've been a non smoker for much longer than that. I've been trying to quit permanently for over 30 years. I'm quite confident this time I'm done for good. I don't want to go through the "first three days" all over again.
Absolutely spot on about the psychosis leading to schizophrenia. My nephew went from a good individual to now being a felon due to perceived slight sign that enraged him, and he has acted out violently, and this only started after he began consuming marijuana regularly. He was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder and autism, but the autism was the initial diagnosis, and since then it has become bipolar and schizophrenia I have cut him out out of my life out of fear for my safety and the safety of my girlfriend due to his actions.
What you said about psychosis in relation to cannabis use was very true in my case. 2 years ago when I started smoking weed I had gone into psychosis and was hospitalized 5 times for having psychotic episodes. I had back to back hospitalizations weeks apart from eachother because I didn’t learn my lesson and every time shortly after each hospitalization I started smoking again so I kept going into psychosis. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and had been put on many medications. I wish I never used cannabis because before I was normal and had a good life. Since then I haven’t touched cannabis and have not gone into psychosis again. I fear if I go back I’ll develop schizophrenia and my life will forever be ruined. Thank you for posting this video because I’ve been able to relate to your experience and it confirms what I went through has happened to others before. Hopefully those who watch this video never go through what I had to.
Nicotine quitting and feel Anxiety ,morning low blood sugar, can’t sleep ,brain fog, fast heart rate, I can feel blood flow heart rate, feel breathing was annoying , and worried about some diseases, depression , can’t find any motivation, blur vision can’t concentration, don’t wanna do nothing feel lonely like I’m psycho mental health issues, smoking 11years ,vaping 1 years now quitting 5days still fighting and horrible!sir
@@AddictionMindset it's easy now, I've learned a lot along the way. The main lesson being that willpower is a complete lie. If you make baby steps to improve your mental health beforehand you can do anything, anybody can do it with the right mindset.
I even involuntarily quit some secondary addictions like gaming and junk food because they didn't feel the same without weed so it's a win in that sense too
Scary!! My mom was diagnosed with Schizophrenia in the early 1960's but was not a regular cannabis user....but wondering since I imagine that mental illnesses alcoholism & addiction is confirmed in my family blood line....I was a cannabis user on & off regularly for over 45yrs starting at age 12 yrs in 1977...coming up on a year of not smoking or vaping anymore...but I have switched over to cbd gummies....which I conformed online that it's still using a Drug & now question that could be a hazard to my mental health ?....but it's the psychotic component that THC is that can be a hazard ....When using cannabis it helped muscle pain,a sexual aphrodisiac....but experienced irritability, anger & depression at given moments, aggressive morning anxiety & stress...lack of focus & concentration now, motivation & fatigue in my later years as I approach 60yrs of age....NO MORE!!! for the rest of my Life...there is too much weighing on the line in my Life to keep a roof over my head & my mental health intact! & not go homeless....
Day 5 for me frank, feeling super fatigued, sweating like crazy, brain fog. I’m able to eat at times but still very nauseous and anxious all the time. Here for any more tips

Try a low dose of L-tyrosine(Dopamine)for awhile for...every other day...or when really really needed. Also, A cup of Green tea in the day with coffee in morning....or take L-theanine...which is what is in Green tea. Helps to increase your Dopamine, Serotonin and Gaba...also helps to decrease your cortisol levels stress hormone and helps woth sleep. Pls read up on these things before you start anything. Take low amount 1st see if helps.
I'm 7 years sober from weed, and can say from the bottom of my heart I will never smoke weed again, I smoked everyday all day for years throughout my late teens... I ended up in psychosis whilst in Amsterdam, no idea how I got home and took me years to recover...
Ok. I see what I have to do now. I’m glad I stumbled on this video. More people need to see this. Most people can handle it and might find it funny. He’ll even I find it funny. But everything said I’ve experienced.
Question, what do you think of use for PTSD? Before I couldn’t get out of bed or leave my home. However, I was never an all day smoker. Small amounts for me.
9th of december was the last time i smoked after drinking a bottle of spanish sparkling wine. The room started spinning and used this as motivation to quit smoking. Didn't even get the urge to smoke yet and only drank alcohol on new years eve. Feeling great actually, didn't expect this. I only have weird dreams. I've tried quitting weed a few times before but had a much harder time.
I’ve been sober over 6 months I was a heavy smoker for over 30 years but I went to Vegas a month ago and I smoked once and had a bad experience and I’m never doing it again it’s not for me anymore.
I smoked weed for the first time when I was 12. Always smoked with friends because I didn’t have much money to spare and there’s no way I would have been able to hide my weed at home, so it wasn’t everyday. Got my own room when I was about 19 and bought a bong and was smoking daily for about 4 years, and then when Covid happened I quit smoking and switched to edibles. I’m down to 5mg of THC or less each night but I can still tell it isn’t doing me any favors, and I’m so curious about what kind of damage my smoking habits have done to my brain development. I guess I’ll never know for sure, but i feel like I’m ready to stop.
I relate to you. Weed use is ingrained in my family life. I got it from my older family member, and since I started at 15, they gave it to my 13 year old brother too to be “fair”. Now we’re both addicts of almost 5 years. I realized recently that while other kids were doing things and being teen athletes I spent my prime being a lazy stoner.
One size does not fit all. Everybodys body is different. What works for you may not work for someone else. In order to take the guessing game out of it, blood work should be taken.
38 hours into not smoking and im shaky, sweating and sick. I feel like my body weighs 1000 pounds. I tried eatinf and wanted to vomit. I was regularly consuming edibles.. sometimes up to 1000mg a day. Are my withdrawals just going to be worse tomorrow?
Terrible advice, weed vapes are far more strong and concentrated and it can coat your lungs in that oily wax. It burns. Edibles are also hard to predict and dose, and they last a long time if you take too much. Beginners especially shouldnt vape or do edibles

Can vaping before hand make some people not like smoking. And can being a smoker before hand make some people not like vaping as much ?
Hmm I am not sure, I think that comes down to preference but maybe… maybe you get satisfied and don’t want the other
Yes most likely i like smoking never was a fan of vaping.
