I can't thank you, and the financial contributors, for helping to bring back one of the most interesting television series ever made. The flexibility for taking more time to fully explore the sites, and return when necessary, addresses one of the major issues I had with the original series. It always baffled me that they were so rigid in their three-day schedule. I can understand the need for a time limit due to production considerations, but I thought they could have taken six days if necessary and then done a two-parter. I'm not going to sleep until the new shows are out! All the best to the team!

From Canada with love! Best show ever!
Really can't wait. Although personal old favourites of mine such as Mick, Robin (Bush, no relation), Tony and Victor will be missed although in Tony's case it would be good to see him back at some point in the future, other projects willing.
I literally can't explain how happy this makes me! So many familiar faces. Sad to see Tony and Phil not there, their banter was hilarious. Tom Scott would be a great presenter option, you know, if he wasn't already so supremely busy! Would be great to get some established TH-cam community involved
Beyond elated! Thank you Tim Taylor and everyone who was behind this! I cannot wait for the new series to begin!
I'm still watching, love Time time... Greetings from Australia....Tony Phil Mick And many more names, you are Legends. Thank you so much for all those years ...... Cheers
and the sweet Matt, is he will be reacting characters again? he was great doing that, charming lad.
Nice to have you back. Having only recently discovered your show, I have been binge watching for probably the last year and a half. I'm glad to be seeing some familiar faces and new sites but, I will mis Phil and Victor. RIP Mick.
Support Time Team on their patreon, more support = more and higher quality time team. If not, spread this to those you know love archeology, history or is a fan of the show.
By donating you have influence over Time Teams future.
Please ask Phil if he can host at least one of the two new episodes.
that's a great idea Long John. that would be a treat for sure.
@@tumblebug302 Tim should try to get Phil on board in some way. For many of us he was Time Team. Loved it when he went ape when Tony would walk in one of his trenches.
I will ask him next time I see him.
Professor Alice Roberts would be a good substitute for Tony, if she is willing and able.......
Tell him to wear his Jorts
Loved everyone on the old Time Teams and glad to see those who are coming back. I’ve always been a big John Gater fan, love his dry sense of humor and his accent. Not sure where he’s from in England but he has a great accent.
I fell in love with this show over quarantine and I am SO excited for new episodes!! 😄
SUPER!!!! I'm a super fan. I'm Mexican and I grew up very close to archeology in my country. I love love your show and the way you discover these magnificent places... I learn a lot about your country because of it and the team members as their knowledge and personality. I keep seeing the old chapters and I do not care to see them more than once. so HURRAY for this new season. obviously missing Phil Mick and Tony ( my favorites) but I love our Geofis, landscape, and little findings team members too. Thanks very much indeed!!!!
Victor's passing is painful, but i'm glad that you're able to share his work! With such a large catalogue of work it'll never truly feel like he's left us.
With presenter, I only hope that you're able to find someone as titularly british and charismatic as Tony, as his stepping back comes at a bit of a shock. Regardless- i'm only optimistic for the future and all decisions you collectively make, TIME TEAM IS BACK!
Victor was the man.. I first saw an episode with him in it years ago and thought who's this guy now? I thought hard and it came to me..I went to the bookshelf and he has done many great pieces of art for some Lord of The Rings books lol. I believe it was a bestiary for middle earth I had read prior to finding Time Team. Scratched chin I know that name lol.. was surprised he was the humble guy off to the side drawing away. Anyway..yeah hes a great LOTR artist.
Best show, best crew, AMAZING window on our shared history and technological investigative techniques. So happy that the Team is coming back and making it global as it should be. Tim you are awesome, indeed ;) We will miss Victor's beautifully captivating brilliance (and there is always a doggie ;) ) and of course the ever lovable forever teacher, life long educator Mick Aston; and his rainbow jumper. Without hyperbole I submit, superbly inquisitive and endearingly brilliant. Thank you so much, all 😍
No one seems to have mentioned her, but I'm glad Carenza is back too.
all I can say is YAY!
Time Team got me through COVID and I'm excited to see more. Happy to see the old group back, especially Matt (who I've had a long-term crush on). We'll miss Tony-he was a great link between the archeologists and us and the bickering that went on between them was always entertaining. RIP to Victor and Mick Aston, who were the heart of the Time Team and are sorely missed. I hope we get to see Phil come back. How can it be Time Team without him?
I'm super excited for that iron age dig and also super happy that cute, cute Matt will be there.
He is adorable for sure.
YAY!!!!!!! This has made my entire year!!!! I discovered Time Team on TH-cam a couple years ago and it quickly became my s1 favorite show! I'm so very happy its coming back and hopefully it'll stick around for a another 20 years!
I'll be starting my bachelor's degree in archeology at saxion college in the Netherlands after the summer, and this will motivate me even more!
Congratulations to *"Time Team"* and to the *"Time Team Tribe Worldwide"*
Most abundant Positive Energy Blessings to *"Time Team and each/everyone who follows their works, and double for Phil and Tony",* I look forward to their participation, topping off this most desired Reunion.
😘 Happy Digs!
I’m so hyped I’ve been watching time team on TH-cam for a while never thought I would see the day there would be new episodes 👍👍👍
What a wonderful show. It's like a breath of fresh air to have a real "educational" and entertaining program.
I can only say this is so amazing. Been out of work over a year due to covid, going back next month. Will be joining patreon asap. Good job to all of you.
Wohoo! I discovered Time Team recently! I'm so excited to see new episodes!
This makes me so happy. Can not wait to see both familiar and new faces💙💙💙
This is awesome. I’m just one American but I’m happy to say I’m hooked. I’ll be supporting y’all.
Omg yes suzannah lipscomb i love her her tv shows are fantastic cause i love history.she will be a great asset to the team.
Thank you for the good times I have spent watching your show and for me the older masters of your show will be sorely missed as to me they felt like distant family. Elders tend to have seen more, experienced more so they can read more about a site. I wish you well
Carnt wait for this !!! I am sure Mick Aston will be looking on with pride 😇
Isn’t he dead?
Bravo, bravo. Thank you so much for bringing Time Team back. If you listen carefully, you will hear the ecstatic applause of this American all the way over there in Englang. Thank you again and welcome back Time Team.
I can actually hear you applause. From Nantes, on the west coast of France...
This is very exciting,. I can't wait to see new episodes!
I am a Patreon supporter of Time Team and am very happy for the chance to do it. Do you guys know how loved you are and how much joy your program has brought to millions of people around the world? Just in case you weren't aware...
I just became one today and I loved all of the old shows, such relatable people, never a lot of flash, just a lot of class!
I'm actually emotional.. I grew up with the show.. I just need to meet Tony before I die..🤞
I grew up on this show. The affect that the original series had on me as a young boy growing up in the east of England. It was amazing what was right beneath my feet. Even did an episode in 1994 in my old town, Thetford
Ok, so this is really exciting news ❤️ looking forward to seeing the new episodes! 😍
I have watched time team from the very first episode, and since then i binge watch most evenings, I wish all the team the very best, and look forward to coming shows.
Glad to see Carenza, Helen, Brigid and Neil will be in the team again
YES, yes, yes, yes, yeeeessss! I love digging for things and watching others digging, it's my happy place. I loved Time Team since I was small - they once dug up beautiful pottery in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, where I'm from, and it's a great episode, so exciting!
If Phils knees are too bad and he can't dig maybe he can take the role of Mick (RIP) he will never be Mick but maybe he can just be another loving character on Time Team. :-)
Last i saw (last year) Phil was working an ongoing excavation at Waterloo.
This would make great sense. Phil has so much experience that even if he can't dig so much any more there is a definite role for him if he wants it.
Phil still digs.
Phil's dig schedule is extremely curtailed at waterloo. This is his 57th year of digging and all. His body was showing wear in time team season sixteen enough to warrant a mention and that was eleven years ago. But do check out his waterloo vids on Wessex archaeology TH-cam chan. Nothing has dimmed that wonderful mind or that Salisbury voice.
BEST news in ages. I had to wait for the Internet to discover Time Team. Best wishes from Australia.
Fantastic, can’t wait. Just have to admit my heart sank a bit when Tim said the one new presenter Natalie is a comedian...please don’t try to make the program something it is not.
Great! Best archeology series ever, anywhere. Glad most of the original stars back.. Especially carenza, fell for her in 80s😘
