They need to fix match making . 8s should not be in a 10 lobby. It's keeping the player count down
I play tier 5,6,7 exclusively. Close to 80% middle or lowest tier consistently. The one mm that has always irked me is being the only tier 5 in a tier 7 game or the only tier 6 in a tier 8 game. This has occurred dozens of times in my 9 years of playing this scripted game but never, never have I ever been the only highest tier tank in a game, ever.
Man ive been grinding for silver in cold war and i now have 60 million silver and i probably won't stop until the 30th

I'd add that to maximise silver gain, you take off the ammo auto replenish and shoot all you have in inventory before selling everything.

I think your math is wrong.
On your example of the m47 after you removed equipment you would get 1.7 mil.
After your purchase the tank (250000 silver) and repurchase your equipment(1.5 mil which is about 500k per equipment) you’re pretty much broken even and that doesn’t include modules.

EXACTLY, did the same calculations and was wondering the same, i guess, it's really 100% worth it, if the tank has no equipment bought, or if you buy equipment while it's on 25% discount after re-purchase of the vehicle. Modules will have price reduced, but still, if selling a tank with 4 equipment plus all upgraded modules purchased, then selling it, i don't know.. plus no idea if the flag, inscriptions, emblems purchased remain on the tank, all i know is that camo bought/equipped will remain on the tank even after re-purchase.
Module Cost is included in the sale price of the tank (with the depreciation factored in) and you will have to buy them back after you re-purchase the tank... but good news is the module cost is also gonna be slashed considerably as well, so still turning a nice profit at the end of the day

This is wrong the final gun on the Schitt-Barn think cost me like 2 million silver alone so probably all the upgrades for the FV4005 Stage II AKA The Schitt-Barn is 10 Modules that's alot of sliver your going to loose if you sell it. Better off Asking Wargaming for our Sliver back. Figures Wargaming would screw us all who play CW now!

I think I'm done with the game. 5 years as a casual player with 50% wr and high ping, it just feels like work. Good players are so far ahead, I usually don't affect matches. At least CW gave the chance to make 2-300k on a win, so it compensated for ww2 pay to play. I'll grind through the season and take an indefinite break playing single player games.

Hello eclipse, you mention that commanders can be sold if unwanted after getting them in a commander chest, i cannot see a way of doing that ?.
If you go to your commanders page you can dismiss for silver

The only incentive I had to play in the cold war cesspool was the silver grind I imagine I'm not alone In this on top up that your pretty much limited to era 1 and 2 because era 3 is way to toxic and barely fun now. And after the silver changes cw tanks will be essentially crimson tanks so no point to leave ww2.

Matches the bs of mm and so called rng (which is a rigged number generator imo) so all is good as far as WOTC is concerned.
I'm sorry, I'm calling BS on Wargaming...they brought out CW in the hopes that WWII would collapse and everyone would play the other mode. Now they have a problem, the players DO farm CW for silver simply because the earn rate in WWII sucks, and you can earn a lot more in order to upgrade in WWII. Hell, I do it myself all the time.
If the intention was to merge the game, then they should have done so AT the beginning and extended the tech tree lines with all the upgrades/silver earn in line with WWII. The statement they made that the intent was to have players grind out at least one line in WWII is TOTAL crap or they would have made it so you HAD to in order to unlock CW, and they wouldn't be selling CW vehicles to every schmuck that has the money.
They have a huge mess in CW, it's damned near unplayable above Era I with all the missiles flying, and Era 3 is nothing short of a clown show now, lemming trains everywhere, 4 Wiesel's on each team, the 292, 477, etc... This is a mess made by Wargaming themselves, period. Now the player base has to pay for it AGAIN...
Not this 9 year veteran, after this season is finished in a few days I’m deleting the whole mess of my PS5. Too many scripted details to list but nonetheless it’s been frustratingly addictive, adios WOTC.

Stop promoting the update you said ww2 doesn't make as much silver as cw. So increase ww2 silver rates. What wargaming is doing doesn't make sense.
