    Awesome video… I’m really looking forward to an editing introduction… it’s amazing that we have this technology so accessible. And this was an explanation I could actually follow. I also appreciate that you touched on both Samsung and iPhone! Thanks for the informative and easy to understand video.

    Great video Bob for the not so experienced photographers. You helped us with good, but reasonable camera phones and equipment. Has definitely come a long way from the old 35 mm Cannon camera I started with. Love your videos!

    Thank you Bob for this, you make it easy to understand as always. I am not getting into TH-cam but have been thinking of making videos for our children and grandchildren to have after we are gone, I have old home videos (no sound) my Dad had taken on family vacations and back in the day my Mother and her Sister made cassette tapes for each other, that took the place of writing letters, a thing of the past. I had often thought how nice it would have been had they been videos with sound so that gave me the idea of making videos for our Daughters to have for after we are gone. I look forward to more information on this topic.

    Thanks, will share this with my women entrepreneur clients that I have done Clairvoyant Psychic readings for business or intuitive entrepreneur coaching. Many are starting out and I have been searching for a video like this I can share with them. I am for sure not a techie gal, that is not how God has blessed me. However, lol, I do know how to share your videos when they want to go nomad for sure!!! Thanks, videos like this will help many that are seeking true freedom.

    Hi Bob! Thank you especially for this video… I am also somebody that knows nothing about editing, so that I have all these cool video clips and movies that are between two minutes and 20 minutes, and I have only stored them away… Only my kids pretend to enjoy going through them watching them! I really would love to learn a little bit about editing. I did get the iOS app my movie, but I have not been able to actually play with it enough to learn it. My friends laugh at me and say there are so many that are better, but I would love to know what somebody like you actually uses, because that of course is the acid test!

    I am very new at researching the nomad life whether as a permanent home or a hotel on wheels to see the USA. I have questions that I have not seen covered and I wonder where to put them so people can answer? Questions like, if I have a van to live in can I tow a compact car behind it to use for sightseeing when I’m at a certain place? What kind of mileage does a van get after it’s turned into a home? Why do people use so much heavy wood for the walls and ceilings; doesn’t that change the gas mileage a lot? What kind of gas mileage does one get in a van that is turned into a home? What happens if you go off for the day to sightsee somewhere in your car - do people steal your van or your camping gear and tent? If your van breaks down needs to be in the shop for two or three days, how much money should you set aside in order to afford a hotel, assuming you can find one that is reasonable where you ended up at the breakdown point? Where I live, in the spring summer and fall you can’t touch a hotel room for less than $200 a day. Thanks everyone for your attention and advice.

      The biggest way to get subscribers is to keep shoveling the content out there. Don't get discouraged, just keep posting videos. One thing you've got going in your favor is a very clear channel name which lets people know exactly what your content is going to be. Keep at it! Don't give up.

    • @paige6028
      @paige6028 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also be consistent with your videos. Viewers like REGULAR day & times that your videos come out. They look forward to it once they've subscribed. Also be consistent with WHAT your channel is about. If it's about Homesteading in GENERAL be consistent with that, if it's about something specific ABOUT Homesteading, be consistent with that. Also, Viewers don't mind telling you what they would like to see more of. Also, keep your videos between 20 to 30 minutes. After the 30/40 minute mark you can lose your viewers attention. I learned a lot about video editing on Skill Share & that was one of the main topics they teach about. People start to lose interest after about 30, 40 minutes max when watching a video. Know what your topic is on the video, stick with it & don't be "all over the place" jumping from one thing to another. Holding your viewers attention is just as important as getting their attention. When you become monetized in your analytics it shows when viewers fast forward through your videos & it affects the amount of money you make. Good luck!
