Use a brushless motor from an RC car. Brushed motors give out sparks.

Not much, it depends on what you have, for me it was free!
Was free for me too, although i only had old fan motors to do it, nothing bigger

Its from an old electrical device. I don't remember what kind it was. It doesn't matter whether ist 12V or 24V. What matters are the rpm.

Its a 12V DC Motor and the speed ist adjusted by lowering the voltage with an adjustable DC power source and so I dont know the rpm.
