Now it all makes sense. I now understand why Si is so special. He shares his birthday with the greatest woman I've ever known in my life. My grandmother. She'd be 82 this year. Unfortunately we lost her in 2011. God bless her soul.

Love these guys Godwin was so nice when I met him at the Huston airport in 2016. He was so humble.
I loved the story on how he met his wife. She came onto one of the podcasts too. They said the first time she went shot gun deer hunting she got an 8 pt buck. Godwin did good getting her to marry him. Most of us lucky goes can say that too.

Phil reminds me off dad . I once saw my dad installing a industrial light and the drill slipped and went all the way through thebpa.of his hand and out the other side. He reversed the drill out wrapped it and kept working.

Man, one time I spent like 2 hours making making some biscuits but I misread teaspoon for tablespoons. I put two tablespoons of salt instead of 2 teaspoons.... They looked amazing, but tasted like the ocean. Broke my heart lol

I’ll share my own biggest personal cooking fail. So, I was a young-ish mama, with 3 little kids, one little baby, and another on the way.
We were pretty poor, and for dinner one night I served up a “casserole” of sour kraut, with the world’s cheapest sliced up hot dogs, covered in ketchup. The meal cost about $2 to feed all 6 of us, as well as blessed little #7 on the way. I wasn’t super proud of it, but it was edible (technically).
So we said grace, and sat there mournfully gazing upon our disappointing feast. We all just sat there looking at it, nobody really wanting to brave the first cursed bite.
Then my precious little fist born Angel, who was designed by God with a knack for plain spoken honesty and unabashed truth, said “It’s OK mom. We forgive you.”
Which of course warmed my heart, because I do have an ounce of self deprecating humor, and I could take it.
Then she said “But you should say sorry.”
My wife got me the Buck Commander Grove Ring and it has been awesome

I’m a full time wheelchair user and have a Service Dog that goes everywhere I go. Even being an overweight wheelchair user I pick up my dogs business when we are out and about. Sometimes I have to transfer to the ground to get it and then transfer back to my wheelchair, but I pick it up. I hate it when we go out and see other dogs businesses all over the place. I have to pay to have my yard mowed as I can’t do that, and I have three other pet dogs and I pickup my yard as that’s the right thing to do for my yard guy. Just like I feed them and take them to the veterinarian.
So sad I missed this had to work overtime man love u guys love the show

My husband always tells me "it's not like mama's but i can eat it, it just not like hers." And I said then why you didnt married your mom?. But really my mother in law really cook good and i will never can be measured to her. Besides i told my husband i love his mom more becouse she cooks good and not him lol
Years ago I used to visit a widowed farmer's wife. The farmer grew up and his mother made the same meal all the time pretty much. So when he got married his wife cooked different things. She would cook, chicken, pork, turkey etc and he thought it was the greatest thing in the world. One time she cooked something he didn't like. He ate it, and she asked him how he liked it. He said it was ok, but she didn't have to make it again. She didn't.
