    Of course, you were robbed whilst overseas, so your legal obligations entering the country don't apply - you should be able to bring in as many bananas as you want without declaring 🙄

    The old couple with the bananas is being abused. The agents should be a bit more decent. They were robbed and now they are being hassled over 3 bananas with very aggressive language. Considering the thousands of disgusting foods shown on the show from all over the world this hardly warranted the tough act.

      @@makenziedickens3052Then again... I wonder how much undeclared food actually goes past unnoticed. There are only so many customs agents and so much time they can spend on every person that passes through there every day. I am sure what they get to check are drops in the ocean.

      Yeah. I live in Japan and am very familiar with Japanese accents in English. He didn't have one. He might be Japanese by blood. He might even have a Japanese passport. But I suspect he doesn't reside there. (Ice is also an incredibly uncommon drug here, so I suspect he was flying in to Australia from some other country.)

      The narrator incorrectly said his name was Tomokazy. Tomokazu, with the u, is actually a Japanese name. But, he had no Japanese accent and ice is practically unheard of in Japan, so yeah, I have my doubts too.

      @jenna-a-gogo 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is a very old episode, so the phone could've made sense 20+ years ago. Tomokazy is not a Japanese name, but I think the narrator got it wrong, because Tomokazu IS a Japanese name. However, I detected no Japanese accent. And ice is practically unheard of in Japan (where I live). So, I suspect he did not arrive from Japan, but rather, some other country.

    Personally I don't get the idea of the strict border securities regarding certain foods like bananas? I felt bad for the elderly couple, but also logically speaking... if you go shop at coles or woolies, not all bananas are examined... some are rotten and some contain insects and diseases too?
