+nally16728 I just finished cooking a 16 pd ham skin on like Mikes, but I don't let it swim in liquid as its like stewing it instead of roasting it.? Other thing is all that top layer pulls away from the meat an you can render the fat for Mexican foods Very fresh tasting. lol I thought his ham looked odd as well, it was all the liquid

I wouldn't throw all those lipsticks away; like the Chanel one. I have lipsticks that are 10 years old and still use them and they are still ok 😀
All make up has a use by date. Check the packaging. Do some research on Google of why make up has these dates. You will be very shocked at the amount of bacteria and germs that's on make up as its a huge breeding ground for them. It's quite disturbing. You wouldn't eat food that's 10years past its use by date I bet lol.
they're still "good" cause they're greasy but the really go off in like 2 years.
I think some of those lipsticks would be great keepsakes just based on the packaging. You might not use them but they could be collector items.

I went trough my lipstick collection 2 months ago. It was so much fun, because I organised them by colour. But a had to trow some away, they smelled zo bad or the oil was coming out. But as my hubbie sad, good excusse to buy new ones. Yay!

i wouldn't just go with an automatic '3 year' rule for throwing out lipsticks. i'd smell each one or try each one on and see if it smells off, instead of just assuming its not wearable anymore. i bet you could have kept some of them, kind of a waste.
I'm sure she checked/smelt them as well.

I really dislike how people in the comments are going on about keeping makeup over 5 years old. Seriously, do you eat food that's 5+ years old? Makeup has a shelf life and just because you spent money on it, and I'm not denying makeup is expensive and I sympathise, it's a hygiene thing.
My Kitchen Fantasy is a wall oven, installed at the correct level for my height, so that I need never drop to my (aged and decrepit!) knees again to pull a heavy pan out of the oven. The kitchen needs updating in due course, so one day - I will have it! Have a lovely Christmas! (It is already Christmas here, but I am catching up on my videos in an early lull in activities. If I fall behind, catching up is impossible.)

Great cleanout inspiration - for the New Year! I've been doing some of that - and I need to do more - it is a terrific feeling! The wonders of Mike - never cease LOL! I had to smile when I saw that pom-pom! Hard to believe - but trends really do just resurface after a while! LOL! Back in the 70's roller skating & Disco roller skating were popular at least in some parts of the U.S. -- I remember my cousin buying several different colored pom-poms to attach to her roller skates - similar to yours! Loving that red lipstick on you Fleur & those lashes to the moon - or stars I should say :) May 2016 be the best yet and may we all do what we can to make it that way!! In the states if you return five Mac things to the Mac store you get a free lipstick maybe it's like that over there too

my mother never threw away her make up and i have raided her box of old lipsticks before. when i was 16 i used to wear a lipstick that my mother purchased when she was about 14 and it was absolutely fine, didn't look or smell weird or do anything weird to my lips. there is no way i would throw away a lipstick colour i liked because it was a bit old. especially my favourite red which is jemma kidd and discontinued and only comes out for special occasions, i've had that lipstick for about 8 years now and it's still fine! xx
It's so funny watching this- I have the exact same lipsticks that I bought in 2009- I think Fleur and I were inspired by lollipop26 as she loved a lot of those!

Not a chance those lipsticks have gone off. You would know if they were because they smell awful or literally have mould growing on them. But those looked absolutely fine.
