Actually a lot of tattoo parlors also have piercings, scarification, and sometimes even carderising and carderising is were you actually take really hot items and burn a design into the skin either through branding or low amounts of electrical current warming up such as a soldering iron this is a challenge of that on steroids honestly they could have used the items given to make a soldering iron but they clearly didn't know much about electricity and how to do that
This is art not just tattooing you have to bring it period !!! Build your craft think outside the box because you never know what they might throw at you ya feel so try your best to be at least a step a head of them .. it's not their buisness what you know or don't know but when it's time to handle buisness show them what you are capable off show them that your not just ordinary or common show them your craft can go to many depths of places ...

Literally the wires were dangerous and burning them. It was obvious within a few minutes that she didn't have the talent to win this particular flash challenge. If you can't win there is literally no point in trying in a flash challenge (because their is no penalty for losing) especially while buring your hands in the process. I would have also abstained from such a stupid and dangerous competition, unless I was lucky enough to have talent at it. There were about three artists who had a shot and the others could get comfortable knowing this was not their day.

These types of mini challenges are stupid, just because you can tattoo does not mean you should also be able to do other types of art. They might as well have them write a novel, see who can jump the highest, and who can recite the alphabet backward if they're going to continue the ridiculous and nothing-to-do-with-tattooing mini challenges.

Hands, eyes, and the brain work just as hard in a Play as they do touching hot wires to a canvas. I was merely pointing out how stupid this challenge and many of their other challenges are because none have anything to truly do with tattooing. Just because you can tattoo doesn't mean you should also be able to do all of these silly mini challenges.

I'm right with Nikki here, I'd be So anxious and honestly scared to do this challenge. I'm terrified of electricity and when I'm doing something that involves a phobia of mine, I just don't trust myself not to go numb and faint or have an anxiety attack. I hate these kinds of flash challenges, the artists have little to no experience with the equipment cannot produce quality work. A single person was able to find a technique- that speaks to how difficult and nonsensical this is. This was not a challenge for artistry- this was a deliberate and dangerous exercise in dooming artists to fail.
Wtf is wrong with these judges? This kind of shit can be very scary, I'd be broken down, crying if I had to work with electricity. This has nothing to do with tattooing. I hate these kinds of flash challenges, the artists have little to no experience with the equipment cannot produce quality work. A single person was able to find a technique- that speaks to how difficult and nonsensical this is. This was not a challenge for artistry- this was a deliberate and dangerous exercise in dooming artists to fail.
Nikki should of just set the whole dam place fire for giving them a crazy/dangerous flash challenge 🤣

Wtf is wrong with these judges? This kind of shit can be very scary, I'd be broken down, crying if I had to work with electricity. This has nothing to do with tattooing. And to say someone shouldn't quit when they're scared and their "tools" are ON FIRE AND SMOKING is just ridiculous. I would have loved to see them show an example since they're such masters and since paining with electricity is such a key part of tattooing.
I cannot believe they thought this was a good idea. I would expect this from my alcoholic father but not from a tv show. Live wires are dangerous at the best of times and they decided to make them sketch with them. They are luck it was only small shocks and not a fire or damage to the nerves.
