Great video, thank you. I have not done this, yet. Does the rubber cement leave a film, or light coating on the area of the blank it was used to lubricate?? If so, is it removed easily with Iso? Again, I haven't used rubber cement since 6th grade, so I have no experience with it.
Great Stuff!! Interesting that the Elmers rubber cement & the 2 part expoxy (as used on the foregrip install) are compatable (being mixed together as the grip is slid into place)...right?? Terrific video. Thank you!
@@joereid8557 Thank you very much! Would have replied to you much earier but You Tube sent your reply to me just today (9-10-22). Can say the process worked perfectly!

@@johnbye558 Yes, easily removed. Just rub hand over lubed area after seating the grip. It pretty much just rolls off once slightly dried. Believe that point was covered in the video? Anyway, process worked very well. Good luck.
Yes it will work as a lubricant but if you dont ream the cork out close enough to the size of the rod blank the cork will split. Cork will not stretch like hypolon or EVA
Very worthwhile video. I know it has been around awhile but well worth watching.
Very clean and functional work.
