Great video, Goldfields Goose. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! The tips on tenements were really helpful. How do you recommend balancing between the various lease types when starting out in metal detecting?
A haaaaa, she's back, good to see Mum is back and sounding healthy and fit, we missed you and the good luck you have in finding gold on a regular basis, I am glad you pointed out what was needed in WA to go detecting and the easiest way to do it, you should do this at the beginning of every episode or maybe every second or third episode it is really helpful as we are all keen on giving it a go over there even if it is just a pipe dream for many. I am in Tennant Creek at the moment and I was just heading out to go detecting when a fan belt broke and chewed the power steering belt up as well, I carry spares so it wasn't a problem or so I thought, the spare power steering belt is to small and I have booked in for another week at the caravan park that has an 11,000volt electric fence surrounding it to keep the crazies out at night, the only people that are really affected by this disgusting behaviour are the ones that do this and have their freedom's taken away. this is how long it takes for the belt to get here, the local Auto Pro is closed and up for sale and it is impossible to get parts here without going to the local mechanic. Luckily I forced the smaller belt on so I can still drive around but it won't last very long so can't really do the next leg of my trip down south until I fit the correct sized belt, I will go detecting today closer to town and finally try out the 14" by 9" coil, the weather here is perfect at this time of year and the fly's aren't as bad as you have over there. I don't know if I would be keen on night time detecting as "drop bears" come out at night and can be quite dangerous, I think a booster or Star Link would be the go, I am looking into solar with enough storage/batteries to go of off the grid with for a while when I get down to South Australia so we shall see, have a good week. Leon
Hello friend, how are you? I hope they both do very well. I send you greetings from Argentina. thanks for your help. It gave me good results. greetings to both
Basically If a person didn’t have anything except a dream to find gold in the wilds of W.A…… they will need a minimum of 50k before they even get started. Just like any gold rush, its the blokes selling the gear who got rich.
Yeah and the uninformed fools that pay.. Plus everyone has a 50k 4x4 these days ya know.. I started with a 2000$ detector and a shitbox car. The problem is that people want everything and don't want to work for it. Also, no one wants to LIVE in the Goldfields, but they certainly want to take as much AWAY from here as they can...can't be cheap, driving across the country to " chase a dream" cheers old mate, very valid points. And maybe a video on basic gear to get started ?
As it starts to cool down out here you start seeing the Vans everywhere! I'm out in the boonies RN on my starlink and already had two oldies rock right up on a 2 .5 ounce patch I just finished working. They said they followed my tracks...they were nice as pie tho. And yes I didn't leave a thing for them 🤣 But yeah, they had a minimum of 200k of gear on them..22ft van ,f250, UTV the lot..
Yeah I must admit even though they were nice and friendly I would never follow fresh tracks out bush and would advise others against it cos not all prospectors are friendly ya know.
That’s motherly exploitation 😂 how many days was that all up try running the six on auto two with no threshold can normal or difficult see if ya get a bigger one then 🎉
The dynamic duo are back,AWESOME, love your videos mate, keep on having fun and stay safe, cheers 👍👍👍

A good mix of e40 and pending. Pay attention to upcoming pending leases.
If you can get on early always a good chance to beat the crowds 👍🍻

@@GoldfieldsGoose 100% mate. I have heard the van parks are full of these types who try to follow people back to productive areas.
