    U totally helped me! I'm 59 and have my nose pierced for the 1st time. I struggled for 30 minutes, watched ur video and it was in my nose in 5 minutes!! So thankful❤

    I've had my nose pierced for 2 years. I've never figured out how to get the piercing out until I watched this video! I moved across country RIGHT after the piercing so I couldn't just go back to the piercer, and honestly I was fairly embarrassed to go ask how to remove it anyway. This video was SO helpful. Now I can wear fun hoops and other designs besides my stud!

    Thank you so much, I'd spent 15 kind of painful minutes trying to get it out from the inside of my nose, but your scissor/pull trick really worked for me, almost instantly, so thank you!!!

    Thank you!! I watched 6-8 other videos that didn’t even come close to helping. After watching yours, I got it out on the first try. Knowing where to hold and how it would come out helped a lot!! Thanks!!

    This video saved my life!!! I wanted to change a larger end to a smaller one. It was so tightly attached to the post I thought I would never get it out. I stuffed my nose with some tissue so the post wouldn’t fall out (just in case) and did the scissor technique you showed 🤗✨ worked like a charm!!

    This is the best video I’ve ever watched, thank you so much. I can’t believe the scissors actually worked. I used to work at a piercing place so I would just go to the guy who pierced my nose to get it changed but I stopped working there and it’s a far way to go to just change my top. I’ve had the green opal in my nose for over a year, so happy I can change it to my purple opal or moonstone now. 🤗

    I got my nose pierced a few months ago and decided i wanted to change it to a hoop. I tried to remove the stud, like this and it just made my nose bleed, what am i doing wrong?

    • @katteddy4368
      @katteddy4368  6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Trinity Fraser how sure are you that your piercing is healed sufficiently to switch out the jewelry? Usually piercers don't recommend changing jewelry until at least 6 months post piercing. Mine wasn't healed until at least a year. Bleeding is usually a sign that it needs to be left alone for a few more months, if you can stand it. I also would recommend going to a piercer the first time you change it to be sure it's done right

    • @trinityfraser8129
      @trinityfraser8129 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kat TeDdy i went for a checkup a few weeks ago and the piercer said it was fine but they would charge to change so i wanted to try it myself for the first time, but when i tried it then bled. I'm going to give it a few more weeks and revisit the piercer just didn't know if i was doing anything wrong

    • @katteddy4368
      @katteddy4368  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, it wouldn't be possible for me to determine what exactly you're doing wrong that's why I think a piercer would be your best bet

    I don't want to take it out but I was trying to remove it just to see how it works. I'm just going to leave it alone for awhile. It's only been in almost 3 months and with my luck I'll have trouble putting it back in. The tattoo artist who did mine told me to leave it in for 9 months before taking it out so it becomes permanent. I did want to maybe change it though.

    This was a great video to change the top! I have been going to the piercing shops to do this. One girl who did mine used hemostats to lock and hold it in place (the post) while u insert the top. My post is quite long because it’s a relatively new piercing and to allow for swelling. I was afraid to bend the new top so u have inspired me to try it! Thanks!

    My piercer changed my nose ring to this kind but i noticed that there’s a space between the pin and the bar. Looks like it could get loose but i tried to take it out and there’s no way. Is that ok? Is that going to irritate my piercing?

    • @katteddy4368
      @katteddy4368  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It might irritate it but when they first Pierce it, they put in a longer post in case it swells. I've downsized twice.

    Hi, I am using one like this piercing but it is the opposite of yours. The model inside that has the hole in mine is the top. And the part that fills in mine is the part that is inside the nose. And it's stuck I can't get it out. I think the pressure is strong. What do I do?
    Thanks

    • @katteddy4368
      @katteddy4368  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, so is it the same exact mechanism but in reverse? If so, I would try to do the same technique with something flat enough to hold the end in place but be very careful not to breathe in the pin as you pull it out. You might need to see a piercer to be absolutely sure you're not injuring yourself.

      Okay, this worked. It took 30 minutes for me to figure it out, but it worked! I used the scissors to hold the base, and for the top, I had just clipped my nails so I couldn't separate / wiggle it off. I took a length of floss and looped it around the jewel part, held the base with the cosmetic scissors, and gently began to wiggle, and it popped out in a minute after 30 minutes of trying various other ways! Thanks!!!

    • @katalinamae

      I tried floss because I know if you slip string under a ring that's stuck on your finger and wrap it to pull the top off, it will come off :) That's the theory I applied to popping my nose ring off :)
