You mentioned that you contacted UMich Ann Arbor's professor. Could you give the details to it, what all did you mention, etc?
Hi Piyush. So, I not only contacted prof from Umich, i contacted prof from almost every university i applied.
Step-1: Find a professor who has similar research interest as you.
Step-2: DO some homework on what has professor worked recently, what were his most accomplished projects. ( Detective work)
Step3: Push a mail to him talking about his research and your projects/research and tell them how both are related.
Ste4: If you did not receive reply, put a follow up mail.
Its very rare to receive replies from professors. So, do not expect replies from every professor you mail to. Hope you got cleared with your questrion.

Its depends on university. You might need to contact graduate dept of the university you are aiming and ask them.

Did you do anything specific to get the scholarships like submitting any other essay or documents along with your SOP and LORs? Or do the universities themselves give you the scholarships based on your profile?
I did not exclusibely do anything but mentioned in SOP that if i get any sort of scholarship like assitantship, that would not only easy my financial constraint but i can also learn to be a teaching or research assitants and so on....

does intenships also play major role for getting admits and rejects for masters.
Depends on the type of internship. If you have a research internship where you have contributed some good research in particular field, it might help you get your profile boosted and get an admit. Or if you have worked in an MNC and worked on real life projects, that would be great as well. So, it depends on how much quality work you have done and what you learned from it.
will they come back to us to offer scholarship, even if they haven't mentioned in decision letter. Typically how much time would it take
In my case, scholorship letter came after one day of my admit for texas tech, for ASU, i got it along with admit letter, for university of cincinnati i got it after 5 days i guess. It varies from university to university. Best way of knowimg is by contacting the program coordinator of applied university.
Bro for Michigan tech ,did you get scholarship along with decision or later ?
I did not get any direct scholarship with Michigan. I got a RA. Its an assitantship. I convinced a prof for thesis and he offered me.

1. I am. not aware of what suits you best in terms of your interest, financial and other constraints.

There are different types of scholarships. Some need to be applief, some are given based on your profile. I made a video on that, you can check!
Hi Shanmukha!! You have mentioned in the video that you already knew that you were not going to get into Georgia tech. May I know the reason, like you had a good profile..... One more thing, i would like to ask you regarding my profile.. Program applied: Aerospace engineering
IELTS Score- 7.5; L-8.5, R-8, W-7, S-6.5
CGPA- 9.47/10
Projects: 2
Internships-2; No research paper
Btech Aerospace engineering- Amity University Uttar Pradesh... By looking at this, do you think Georgia tech will accept me?
Georgia tech mechanical program is one of the best in US, infact top5 i would say. I had good gpa ( not excellent) , i had decent projects and one conference paper ( not excellent) and no work ex. I knew that one neefs to have excellent profile to get into GA tech mech prog. I am not aware of aerospace program. I suggest you talking to aerospace students at GAtech about this. Dude their is no way they are charging you "In-state fees" as an international student. In-state fees are for in state applying students who are either US citizens or permanent residents. No way!
In texas tech, when you receive a scholarship of 1000 dollars or more, your out-state fee is waived and you are supposed to pay instate fee. I have it clearly written in my scholarship letter. If you want proof, you may contact me by email. Or ask anyone who is studying at texas tech university.

I applied for masters in mechanical Engineering and now I am pursuing it in Clemson University.

I meant that the Universities which are achievable i.e, i knew that i would definitely get into that university, i catrgorized that as safe University.
