      That was what we thought in 2015 when he promised to restore power in Nigeria within 6 months and until now, after 8 years he can't fulfill his promised but making flimsy excuses. ! He is a big failure who has nothing to offer ! Only to talk and give unrealistic assumption ! You're just a bitter tribalist and hypocrite ! Yorubas supported and install Buhari that have put Nigeria in shambles ! And u thinking doing such to spite the Igbo's ? Now u suffer more and u people wants to install ur agbadoo dead beat tinubu to upgrade ur suffering on Nigeria ? It won't work this time ! Instead of Tinubu, let Atiku Fulani take the presidency !

    Fashola is smart, eloquent, and all, but I think he evaded most of the questions asked and got on the defensive. Anyways I know he said any serious government should fix electricity in six months...played a good game for his master but now in nigeria we need transparency...he spoke about increasing taxes and didn't touch on reducing govt wastage. They keep focusing on the masses rather than starting charity from home.if government official allocation can be slashed, I'm sure it will do a lot to build certain infrastructure. Awolowo, in the bid to grant free education, cut off government unnecessary spending and added up to foster free education. We just need selfless leaders who are ready to take responsibility and serve selflessly...

    Seun you should have asked him if he thought that the APC would have the same number of votes as they had in 2019 which was around 15 million also if he thought Nigerians are happy with the APC.

      And you think he will not be able to answer that question?

    • @olumuyiwaojo3532
      @olumuyiwaojo3532 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What many of you don't know is that many have seen what they have never seen before under PDP. They are seeing massive infrastructure development. Since PMB forcefully diversified our economy away from OIL only into AGRICULTURE, MINERAL RESOURCES, GAS and DIGITAL ECONOMY, many are profiting and employing people.
      Many knew that all these insecurity and economy sabotage are man made and are done by the opposition to make Nigerians hate the government.
      Therefore, since the opposition couldn't do anything for 16 years and now become a clog in the wheel of the ruling party so that they can come back and continue from where they stopped in 2015, many will still vote for APC.
      Before 2015, PDP government owed civil servants, contractors, etc Trillions of Naira. But today, APC government has cleared all salaries, pensions, allowances, gratuities, even the Biafran War Veterans that we're gazetted to be settled but neglected by past regimes, Buhari has settled everyone.
      Before 2015, about 32 state government were owing their staff and was tough for many states to pay back. But PMB came and released BAILOUT fund for them and put smiles on their faces.
      Before 2015, government wasn't interested in the plight of the masses, especially the vulnerable, SME entrepreneurs, etc. But PMB came and started pumping money into farming, trading, and even set up a new ministry called MINISTRY OF HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS, DISASTER RECOVERY AND MANAGEMENT to take care of Nigerians in time of challenges and also support less privilege and vulnerable Nigerians. This is legalised and for the purpose of sustainability.
      When the chips are down and eyes of Nigerians are weaned from sentiments and pains created by the opposition, Nigerians will retain this party to continue. You might not see it coming now, but wait for some days, the reality of all I said above will done on the people.

      @@olumuyiwaojo3532 first off, the PDP and APC are sticks of the same broom, what you stated is subject to your own opinion. This doesn't reflect popular opinion. Out on the streets people are in dire straits. You blame economic hardship on the opposition? How, throughtout the 8 years of the APC? Did they promise change? Inflation rate is over 20%, about 60% of Nigerians live in Poverty, what digital economy has imroved, what diversification besides rice production and how much is a bag of rice? Did they provide power? come on, you can do better. In comparison, the PDP is the lesser evil. The PDP did better because Nigeria came from the Military scenes into a new Government led by Gen Obasanjo in 1999. It grappled with reforms and institutional improvements. Obj produced the likes of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala who assisted in settling foreign debts, brought in major telecoms giants, built the NAFDAC, the EFCC, ICPC etc. These structures still drive the system in some way, today. Yaradua died, there was transition in government...yes they mismanaged the wealth and resources, Criminals like Atiku and co manifested...
      Looking at the APC, a new government ought to build on current gains and improve on policies of the previous, but what did we witness with the new breed of politician in the APC (who made very lofty promises)?...GMB entered the stage, Nigeria slept in the first 6 months, no proper leadership existed, cabals ran the government, a new wave of banditry, kidnapping, terrorism etc emerged. It pervaded the country...incompetence thrived amongst the ruling class...there are too many things wrong with the current system to mention. In conclusion, PDP and the APC are one and same, It amazes me how y'all settle for mediocrity.

    A careful listen to BRF tells you that he hasn't realized that this election is about the Nigerians versus the political class. He strongly feels the governors in APC states will decide who wins the presidential election. I wonder if there is any governor that has the capacity to tell his people who to vote at this critical time. Which governor has bailed his people out of the crises bedeviling this country? The people know better now. The people will surely decide this time around.

U want to move Nigeria from consumption to production and yet u want to open boarder! D china he quotes every now and den close deir boarders for 40years to achieve local production and get deir pple to appreciate and patronize deir locally made goods...so how do u open ur boarder to foreign goods flooding ur market and still expect ur local industries to compete and grow wt little or no patronage? Secondly u want to build a strong economy without building strong infrastructure...mehn; only kids can b deceived by dat motivational speaker! Common economic knowledge will tell u,PO is wack!

    • @charlesduka6476

      PO’s common economic policy took him through Anambra state as governor who never borrowed a dime from anybody and still cleared debts, became no 1 in education, had the best road network in Nigeria, cleared all outstanding debts that was accumulated by Mbadinuju and Ngige, built the first owned state teaching hospital, encouraged and supported multiple churches and other private institutions to establish private hospitals across the state, carried out a wide security outfit in the state across the 21 local governments and all the communities, encouraged agricultural developments in rural areas like Anambra West, Anambra East and Ayamelum local governments (areas no other governor has ever looked at). This is just to list a few. Peter Obi’s economic policies are not far fetched, it’s not a matter of a raised IGR that no one in Lagos can see. So keep PO’s name out of your stinking mouth. Tinubu does not come close, your over-bloated and overhyped Fashola can’t lace his shoes when it comes to policy making, or even in economic policies. Prior to Peter Obi becoming the governor of Anambra State, he was already the Chairman of Fidelity bank that raised the then 25Billion naira being set by the then governor of Central bank. See eeeh, these people you worship are not even half of a man as Peter Gregory Obi. If you want to talk about him, be serious and come correct or SHUT UP.
