There's 2 sides of Toby Fox: -A strange guy that covers himself in foam and releases it on the internet -A guy that makes the best music I ever heard (I don't normally listen to music but Toby Fox is just something different)
At 1:10:16 , A Town Called Hometown starts playing, and out of all of Toby’s beautiful songs, this one I think means the most to me. I was up at a family friend’s cabin on a lake a few years ago, light filtering into the guest bedroom, when I beat Deltarune(Don’t remember which chapter, maybe two?). I don’t remember where, but there’s this guy sitting on a bench in the town that says something like “I come to this bench to write in my head. If anyone says you’re doing nothing, just tell them you’re writing! Come rest here whenever you want to write or create.” I’m probably really off from what they actually say, but I sat there for a long time. I was struggling with creating art for a while and finding myself(I am better now!) but I then went outside with the song on loop in my earbuds as I walked around and drew trees and stuff. It was wonderful, and I never hear people talk about the song more. I just wanted to share this story, even if nobody will read it. I guess the writing wanted to leave my head this time when I heard it on this great playlist while I spend my day off doing artwork for school 🧡
This is such a great combination of cut tracks and official/released ones. I've had this in the background on repeat for hours now. Love Toby's music! I think the unused fountain one is one of my personal favorites!
