Another excellent example that your PG ranking does not always correlate to in-game talent. It just gives you an idea of a kid's athletic abilities but, what you learn real quick in fall ball is that there are plenty of guys that are BP All-Americans, plenty that throw the ball through a wall, and several that can run. Few can actually translate their games to college ball and find out that the transfer portal is real. One more thing on velo, 95 mph is still rare and those that command it even more so, many kids are still throwing 88-91 mph and even slower midweek. Scouts/Recruiters fall in love with the billboard (size) and find out afterward if the gamble was worth it, little guys have to prove their worth, again and again.
Simply, it’s a money grab. PG is such a scam
