    For beginners seeing this video, when on the ball of the feet it is not like on the toes. The heal is barely above the floor to glide above it and does not drag the floor.

    • @DanceInsanity
      @DanceInsanity  5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @Luisame you're welcome. 🌈😊maybe so. But balance is definitely something that can be trained and acquired over time. Just takes specific exercises to get it down. Do u have better balance than others? 😉

    • @tytusbergstrom

    thanks! how do you generate speed when the arms go behind the body, like the last spin you did?

    • @DanceInsanity
      @DanceInsanity  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @Dance Fan. oops, I mean Alemana Good question! You can use the pull-in of your arms to create more speed. It's like figure skating. ;) do you like to spin?

    • @tytusbergstrom
      @tytusbergstrom 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      its an arm wrap, so the arms can go anywhere...

      As a man, I danced for many years and I enjoy making women turn. Now to help some female beginners, I am learning to turn myself. I managed to do the Salsa cross body turns. However, the spotting business I never get a hang of it.

    • @chance8yes
      @chance8yes 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I also dance Argentine tango, where almost every turn and pivot is is initiated with upper body twist. So I am applying that technique to Salsa cross body turn with good success. However, the idea of turn/spin initiated by upper body’s twist seems to be contrary to the concept of spotting, because you want the head to be the last to turn :). Could you shed some light on this? Thanks.
