  • Master glass artist Paul Stankard shares how he makes his intricately detailed paperweights. He is inspired by the South Jersey landscape where he grew up, and where he still lives and works. His creations are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Louvre, yet he barely graduated high school before entering a technical program to learn scientific glassmaking.
    Produced by Eric Schultz.

I loved the one with the all the bees flying around the flowers, I could just lose myself , looking at the beauty, and wonder in how it was constructed. I am sure there is bits and glimmers hide within it.

So amazing. I would give anything to be able to own one of these masterpieces. Maybe one day. I have a small collection of high end paperweights but my dream is to own one of his. Particularly one with bees in it ❤️ amazing
