  • Perthshire Paperweights was founded in Scotland in 1968 by Stuart Drysdale and had been world renowned of creating millefiori and antique French style glass paperweights. Unfortunately, they stopped production in January 2002 after the death of Neil Drysdale, son of Stuart Drysdale who had taken as President after his father died in 1990.

Deacons Glass, also in Crieff, is run by the son of one of Perthshires original glassmakers, does the same style in the same way but also uniquely their own designs with its own signature cane replacing the Perthshire ones.

Perthshire closed its doors in 2002. You can still run across Perthshire pieces on eBay and online dealers.
