Always good to hear different transcription and thank you for posting but I found the part lines unclear and difficult to differentiate. For example, Johnathan Scott's transcription played at Echternach Basilica is orders of magnitude clearer and for me, closer to the spirit of the original.

Thank you for pointing me this transcription, I thought I've heard all Chaconne versions before writing my own one. In short: there is too little material for an organ piece in the original. What to do with it? Everyone just colorizes the violin original, because they all are afraid to change the original, to derivate from it. But to think like Bach means to write for the organ as for the organ. That is, to recompose the violin original, and not to make an arrangement. There are a few witty passages in Scott's transcription, just where he allows himself to add something to the original. But basically its weaknesses are the same as those of the others, and they come from reverence for Bach.
